It is time that MCD's top executive's stopped living the high life of Louis XIV in their palace in their Oak Brook, IL HQ! It is time they stop eating meals prepared by top Hyatt chefs there! I say put in a working MCD there and let them see first hand how poorly their system works and the quality of the food and insanely slow service, I bet after a week of them experiencing their own products we would see massively needed changes quickly!

Now is the time for MCD to get rid of its overly complicated system and VERY SLOW system with its insane amount sof complexity and confusion. Bring back the original system of only 9 offerings delivered in LESS THAN 3 minutes! People are not coming to MCD for a gourmat meal! They just want sonething decent, cheap and ABOVE ALL FAST!!!!
I and others have long been advocating the MCD get off the disasterous course Ron Thompson set for MCD. His final act of iiotcy was ordering more customization to a menu that already is overly complicated, slow to fill, and costly! I say good riddance!
Imagine if MCD start spin-off real estate business.....also start to do some gowth with new products made from local country.....like Sushi..from Japan.....Tonkinoise soup..from Vietnam.....Salmon from Alaska....Shrimp from Philipines....Vegetarian diet meals...Mediterean menue with pasta...couscous...etc......getting international chefs from all around the world to create new refreshing menus with great taste...
that could be something.....like an international menus with quality food for a change....well balance.....that will be a great ideas....also selling pre-cook meals....in grocery...like McCafé....could be an other possibility....

Just because they have a new CEO doesn't mean this pig is gonna fly. They need a new marketing strategy that doesn't involve heavy discounting. You cannot discount your way to prosperity, no matter how hard you try and they need to learn this quickly. There are many menu items that could take a price increase of a dime or more and customers wouldn't blink if they were serving quality food with decent service. Discounting has lead to the demise of service, because everyone is cutting labor to make profit. Also getting rid of the UHC's, and service burgers straight off the grill would improve the flavor of he burgers. Without these changes, this pig is gonna stay as a none performer.

Only those unaware about GMO food and all the BAD food MCD sells are the only customers., my husband one of them., why ? my husband doesn't understand about GMO food and fresh natural, traditional or organic grown products. I drink the coffee only, is the only good MCD has, since the OATS I am afraid it can come from GMO seeds. Many years back (20 ) I was a regular daily customer along with my small children. My hopes new CEO takes this into account
It may be easier for them to diversify away from the fast food only concept. Buy stakes in growing fast casual restaurants or maybe outright buy the fast growing restaurant chains. I bet they now wished they had kept Chipotle.. LOL

Still looking into this guy's bio, but McDonald's doesn't really need a perfect CEO, it just needs a CEO who understands the business and executes with some degree of competency.

MCD is pretty much toast (pardon the pun) there are still other places that serve good food and don't rip you off. *Not including Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza Hut or Burger King.
