Thanks Keystone. Can't wait to see Kowa start influencing sales figures. We'll hit 10K pretty soon.
Good luck and God bless all Amarin investors.
The SPA dust has now settled and we're at a level most expected. Short term, we're probably going to hover around $1.30 - $1.40. We could touch the 52 week low before we finally bottom out. If you believe in the fundamentals going forward then now is an excellent entry point.
There are three types of investors in this stock today - those that gambled on the SPA and lost (casino gambles), those with a short term horizon (shorts, option player) and those who believe in the science and are willing to wait this out for the interim analysis in 2016. Currently, about 70% of posters fall in the first two categories with an obsessed with weekly scripts. AMRN management telegraphed their hand this past week. First, they made peace with the FDA with the language of their CC. That would suggest the appeal process has come to an end and they will focus resources on Marine and attempt to bridge the organization to 2016-18. They are also committed to the completion of Reduce It - which was a broadcast message to the FDA and BP. AMRN management is also aware of the event rate and feels positive about tracking to date - hence RI completion.
The most compelling component going forward will be BP. Once the dust has settled and there's closure on the sNDA, valuation will become a little more certain. If scripts significantly accelerate, it wouldn't be surprising to see BP buy a minority stake in this company - say 20% - and bridge funding to 2017-18. This approach has been employed with HGSI and others in the past. In any event, it's not likely AMRN will not see RI completion in 2018. This company will have been acquired IF we have positive results in 2016.
I'd take $2 right now and be happy. The FDA has an agenda that does not bode well for AMRN.
The weekly revenue is running at $1.175M and that is $15.28M quarterly and $61.1M annually.
About 15K weekly scripts are needed to run $100M annualized revenue. We will be there in early 2015.
Watching the paint dry (and the paint ultimately will dry even without FDA's wind). What else?
"put down"? The guy who pumped this up, sold millions of shares, then pulled the rug out? Who had a chance to sell this for $15-$20 and scoffed at it? Who burned who knows how many bridges at other BP and the FDA? Yeah, dude's a saint that did everything right.
it says... .what is it? who is it? why is it here? stay on the sideline dummy. i had to un-ignore you to even see your post so that tells me you're not smart enough to warrant my time. By by again.
Hey man, it says very clearly that the manufacturers of omegavia meet the same GMP standards that vascepa manufacturers meet. The exact same standards.
The FDA doesn't do anything special for vascepa factories that it doesn't do for the factories that produce omegavia.
Most people on this board are irrational, gambling addicts that are trying to hit the lotto instead of actually investing and securing gains.
All of them will lose over time and wonder why they will need to work until they are 86 years old. Don't worry, the average life span for a man is in the 70's so you are getting bonus years if you work into your 80's. Sure those extra years are all wasted working just to try to keep up with all of your medical expenses, but at least you aren't dead.
Yep, once a partner gets a piece, it usually ends up being that partner buys them, or no one. Really limits the BO possibilities. Look at HGSI; there was only one possible buyer.
Management still can drive the BO price higher by partnering first and selling the company later. But this is amarin management, so you know how it goes..
I was beating the drum a year and a half ago when this was at $7 to PLEASE sell the company for $10-$12. I got destroyed by posters on this board who said I was an idiot and crazy. Anchor was coming! They said. Why in the world would they sell for a puny amount such as $10 a share??!!!
Then when it was at $2, I said...if they can get $5, take it and RUN! Again, I was destroyed.
Well, here we are, AGAIN. $5 a share is a dream right now. If they can get $5, they TAKE $5. Er, wait. A sane person would take $5. This management team? What's the new mantra? Not a penny under $15?
