The company's actual markets and market share is declining, or so it would seem. When revenues implode it is generally not a good sign. Their balance sheet is conservative and solid, but where to from here. As everyone has asked, What happened to the markets where ASEI use to operate strongly in. Competition? Shrinkage? What is it? The company cannot keep the share price high forever by buying stock, and producing quarterly losses.
it seems that they would not be buying back stock if they are liquidating. I do not understand the point. Maybe to short but otherwise what?
Look at the bright side we are getting a dividend getting more than 5 percent. True if you bought high you are getting screwed but at least the dividend is high-at least for now-next quarter might be a different story.
it is hard to believe that their sales cound be down so much with the terrorist enviroment we now have. Is the market flooded for these products or is the sales force just not contacting/marketing their products correctly. As a very long term share holder I am very disappointed and could have used more insite at the CC
is there still a poison pill in play here? Seems to me, back when they thought they could run this company correctly, they inserted PP to keep buyers away...
Wish you were right. I have been waiting for 15 years for asei to be taken over. Does not happen even at this low valuation price right now. If they cut the dividend get ready for another plument. Probably to low or mid 20's. The only thing keeping it at 39 is the dividend.
If the company does not come up with some new business, and with any meaningful fine, Will management be forced to cut the dividend, or, suspend the dividend all together? How much cash does ASEI really have?
Are not revenues declining?
I remember back when this company would miss and be punished by investors and the street. Management should of put the company up for sale a long time ago. Now what?
