I think they'll put emphasis on what they have that is commercially viable, like the autonomous buoys. OPTT isn't going away
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Pullout of Australia was necessary with the repeal of the carbon tax. I'm sure the Australian government has taken this into consideration, and I'm betting they give OPTT some sort of a break. It makes sense. The carbon tax had a lot to do with the reason for the project to begin with. They know that. Don't care whether you agree, just sayin'.......
Sentiment: Strong Buy
If they have coverage, will the coverage cover willful acts which the company alleges the CEO committed as he was terminated or cause according to them. Time???? Even one law suit could take yrs, never seen so many which could complicate the matter. Heck, lead plaintiff is not even due till mid next month. Company is not In good shape with Australia dead, Oregon dead and looks like spain is dead as well. The wild card is what will its one partner, Lockheed do, but they may be #$%$ if the CEO ruined the Australia project, we just do't know and I resent the company for firing but not explaining the reasons therefore.
With their cash they can stay on quite some time
class action, may take many years, but for sure they need to clarify why they did an IPO on 3.1
while 5 month later they quit a project on for this moment in,their own interest....(they for sure now cannot comply to that contract....
hopefully their insurance covers part....
in,the CEO wring doings......in case of a claim....
would it not,be in the interest of the aus gov.to use this clean energy
my guess is after the class action optt will be bought by???
Noone serious Will ever invest in Nigeria, unless completely covered
But do You understand the risk of trying To complete o project with a bad contract!!
they take a hit,now,,..on the share, but a New contract is viable
" Execution is what they need"
Execution is what they might get if they are stupid enough to go to Nigeria.
(or China for that matter....they don't fork about with fraudsters)
I don't think you appreciate the risk you are taking. Maybe you don't care about $30k but you'd be better off playing Blackjack with it imo.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Prefer Japan or Australia instead of the World most corrupt country
when do shareholders start to,understand It was good To terminate This contract To avoid issues later.....
Oh they have a plan all right.
To stuff the rest of the loot down their trousers and then fly to Rio :)
Say - Lagos, Nigeria for example. Population about 10 million, right on the ocean bank. Power/energy is less than 15% at current levels. Just a contract in that country alone would make ocean power a $20 company. Now, stretch this scenario and see where this can go. Execution is what they need. They have the patents (over 70 of those) and tech!!! Execution. And they just appointed a Marine General as COO. They may have a plan. Plus, they have $18 million cash. And the market cap is about $18 million. That is why I AM INNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
what is the cash value?,,,,,1,3?
paying back 5,2 m
money been spend (partly ?)
an laywer case......,,,will insurance pay out by mistakes of the ceo ?,,,,or will it be on their cash levels
they need to sell themselves ........than shares goes up,,,no reason for laywers to sue
make a better contract,,,,and start building buoys
what is the step of the autr. government......will they persue again in another ocean wave power project..
mostly when this happens shares get overheated to the down size
Having a massive ego, Johnboy2680 assumed that they appreciated him for telling them to sell the stock AFTER it had already lost half of its value. He sat down and finished half of the box in one sitting!!!
Later that day he found out the hard way, or should we say the soft and drippy way, that the chocolates were actually laxatives!!!!
Party on Johnboy2680 !!!!!!
