You don't know what you're talking about. The net SI didn't double like the price did (twice) over the reporting periods, but there is no question that the more-than-the-outstanding-shares volume is caused by cover, short, stop out, repeat, with green candle chasers making the shorts squirm over the same several million shares while the price flies up. Why would you assume otherwise? Are you under the impression that shorts don't mind owing more? Or that they never screw up while fighting the tape? You are quick to mock my take on the perils of shorting a raging bull market, but just as quick to point out that you do not admit a short position here. Why is that? Afraid to lose credibility if the price goes up? I was here saying "bear hunt opp" in the low 2s. You don't need to admit I was right, but you do need to understand that most folks with a brain can tell that I called this one heck of a lot better than you did.
You really should call yourself "'SHORT' ON THE BRAIN".
Please get a life and understand that short squeezing did not have much to do with the absurd volumes of the last month.
Here is live wave data from the EMEC wave hub in Orkney UK
Waves are over 4 Metres at the moment....PERFECT!!
Where is the fudging OPTT Power-Phooee?
Scared to go in the water?
Since ocean waves are caused by wind, you have your good locations and your bad locations. Where are the wind farms in your neighborhood? Now, when are you going to start making any sense of this?
Tell me WHERE.
Hawaii is famous for its waves.
They are big .....SOME OF THE TIME
Australia has good waves too....SOME OF THE TIME
Please tell me where the waves are good MOST OF THE TIME
Kindly provide a link to the live wave data so that I can be certain that you are not....
TALKING OUT OF YOUR Rs!
IMO, this will only happen if Lockheed solves the challenges involved in the Portland project. If they succeed, Lockheed and Mitsui would be the most likely suitors to nab OPTT's IP and personnel, but a bidding war is unlikely - MITSY will let LMT have it before it gets to that. A hedgie or PE firm is possible, but those sorts of folks will be far more likely to play the common, like they are doing now.
NONE! There have bee other wave-generating companies that have gone under over the last few years. The technology isn't much different in the basic design concept. The erratic pounding energy of the waves is the main issue why no one has been successful to date with wave-generation. Until that is resolved don't invest in OPTT (trade if you want) and don't have BLIND HOPE someone will buy them.
What do you think long term...I like the low market cap.....imaging if it get to 500 mil!!!
Maybe 20$ in a year or 2.?
