Wouldn't matter. Sun is one of those banks that will always be tangled up in legal issues. Maybe it's in their Mission Statement?
Helps when you spread out the pain!
Only way STI goes over $45 if the DOJ announces a universal settlement for legacy mortgage crimes of a couple of billion dollars.
Net interest margins continue to decline, non interest income continues to decline as new loans stay low. the only reason they are meeting earnings is by loan loss releases from improving credit metrics. No matter how hard I try, I cant find a reason to own any banks. Some one enlighten me why this would make any sense.
Wonder if that means the next one is going to be a whopper.
This outfit will continue to enjoy a long relationship with the legal system.
APRU is a hot stock that has yet to be uncovered by the masses. Time to take a real look at it to see why this cannabis stock could be the next 1000% runner!
Jim Cramer has this stock in his charitable trust portfolio. He is recommending a buy if it goes a little lower. I am going to buy some more this week. Good luck longs... If you are an investor you will be rewarded.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I agree that customer service is the first thing people like about a business. I cannot say that I have ever been in a suntrust bank. The way the stock is moving is another way to see how people like or believe in the stock. I guess I will just have to wait and see who is telling the right or true story. Good luck longs
Thank you for your obviously knowledgeable and we'll conceived post. You just keep worrying about customer service and thinking the bank won't be around much longer and I'll somehow manage to deal with the growing value of my STI holdings.
From the posts you and your ilk bombard this board with, I have to believe that you are special cases and not the norm....you are less than 5 out of millions. Have you considered that it may be your less than wonderful attitude and personality which gets you similar service in return?
If this has been going on as long as all the knowledgeable folks like yourself claim, and we look at the stock chart over the past five years, the only conclusion we can come to is that whatever they are doing, they should continue, and do even more it.
STI is going to be around much longer, will likely grow, and probably either be acquired by B of A, or other mega-bank or move up expanding its footprint to have a more national presence. You just keep posting as you have been, because we see how the stock price reacts.
