That "GM hybrid' is a Cadillac plug-in electric hybrid, clearly not designed for the Prius market. Rich people have more money than ever, they can buy what they want (including Congress).
However, the main volume of car sales are for models starting under $25K.
Prices far out weigh demand here. Buyers will never buy at these ridiculous prices/ One example new GM car 75,000dollars a hybrid big deal never recover from cost alone for gasoline savings. Whole system is a joke. Auto sales will plunge. Cant afford payments even with 6 to 7 year plan. Whole system a joke like stock market. Never seen America is so bad of shape. Its all games and manipulation by WAll Street banks/ Federal Reserve
I said this so many times that Honda needs to fire all of its designers. Honda still have some styling, but Acura is the worst. Acura face looks like a down syndrome with bucktooth. All of its exterior styling looks the same: painfully unattractive. Interior with huge, eyesore, overhang GPS hood. Terrible design, tasteless, clueless. Honda doesn't take anyone opinion until its sale drops to nearly zero and the brand is too damage to correct which can cost them years to fix the image.
May I add this commercial is a all time low and may even run off buyers....very irritating... whom ever ok'd it should be fired.....
If the ad agency is reading this take that POS commercial for the Acura TLX off the air. That screaming and attempting to sing is so irritating and obnoxious. I do mute it when it comes on.
I agree. Seems their foundation and quality is solid, but there's no 'Wow' factor in the product line. Sadly most folks are drawn to the newest Shiny item rather than their reliable/uninspiring products.
I don't think they have Acura in Japan. A TLX commercial was on CNBC as I'm writing this. The style of the new ILX is not bad, but I too don't understand the grill.
As much as I'd love to buy this stock I just don't see much in the way of new product either from Honda or Acura that is compelling enough to lift this stock to $40 or more. Though Honda sometimes confounds its many critics on the styling/performance front their many recent failures including the ZDX, ILX and RDX on the Acura side and CRZ and Crosstour among others on the Honda side seem to highlight a company more interested in telling consumers what they should want to drive then listening to what people say really want to own. Any thoughts?
Honda needs to bring out the NSX concept and then things will fall in line behind it.. But to make everything look like it and not release the concept car is STUPID Sounds like what the Americans would do.. Keep you waiting while your line sales are dragging
Oh yea I forget I own a Honda Motorcycle too.. when I want speed... Hurry up with the NSX concept..
Now don't get me wrong I have a Honda car, Honda Generator, and some other Honda products but when I want to move up to a Luxury car the Acura is a complete turn off.. I'd rather have a BMW,Volvo or Lexus.. in terms of styling.. the engine part works but the acura styling leaves much to be desired.. its not like it was in the old days of the NSX..
Thats what is killing this company luxury products.. I'd rather drive a Lexus then an Acura.. Acuras all look the same and the grille is UGLY on these Acura's... Maybe they go over well in Japan but here in the states all they do is catch Bug residue and they look fugly.. Lexus, BMW, MB and even Volvo will be eating their lunch..
Now as a generally unabashed Honda fan, I will say that my Toyota 4Runner reeks of quality. That said, I'm on my 2nd Accord (2014, 6M), have owned 2 Civics, an Odyssey, an S2000, a Honda mower and possibly a Honda CB500XA.
I used to get emails from Underground Stock Alerts...not anymore. I just googled Underground Stock Alerts and Flash Market Research and nothing came back. Do you know what happened to Underground Stock Alerts?
