I think bilionares in stock market get money from people who lose money in the stock market. Money changes hand from losers to winners.
Thank you because you show that you're more civilized than the others. We just express our opinion not try to insult someone who has different idea. We all have the right to believe in our judgment despite it's right (make money) or wrong (lose money).
My short position hit the stop order. I didn't make much money but at least I didn't lose money.
Inventory problem - 9 months ,not 9 weeks CEO and CFO lost so not selling to wholesalers
this is a home run for VRX
AGN was going to pay over $200 per sh for it VRX is paying 158
yes, sport, I have a clue, you dont. when a company is acquired, they halt sales. The acquiring company then gears up the sale of that drug.
"Product revenue dropped to $13.5 million from $237.6 million, missing the FactSet consensus of $192.4 million. Based on prescription demand, the company, which agreed last month to be acquired by Valeant Pharmaceuticals International VRX, +2.97% believes product revenue would have been $360 million if it didn't halt sales. "
why would a company halt sales to get acquired?
You'd think they would want other offers
that is seriously your answer??? LOL
and you are telling me to get a clue????????
trangy, Billionaires get their money from the the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, just like everybody else. VRX is setting a new buy point. It's straight from the chart. Just take it and don't try to fight the tide. If VRX had a one day pop and then came back down to $170ish that would be different but it didn't. Think of trying to short NFLX, AMZN after it popped after their earnings. Look at DIS. I don't like comparing sectors but too many thought that those would be easy shorts. Wall Street will try to bash VRX like the bozos on CNBC who days before thought it was the second coming. They knew they missed an oppurtunity and are trying to justify something that's not there to bash. I laughed so much when the C word changed his tune saying VRX will have to keep buying more to grow and taking other companies products, etc. I know you won't listen, but I'm just saying be careful.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Sir dingle warned you has been posting endlessly for past 4 years 24/7 to this day 1 month after buyout wasting his pathetic life away because he's got nothing else to look forward to in life but trashing stocks that he doesn't even own.
You are an idiot if you take that kind of risk to make a couple of thousand dollars Nobody could be that stupid More than likely , you are a worthless Salix employee about to be canned How about learning to string together a full sentence ?
If I cover today I can make profit of several thousands dollars. Of course this is a petty cash to compare with billion dollars. But you should know Wall Street doesn't create more cash only transfer money from an investor to another one. So you know where is the money these billionaires get from?
Absolutely. You called it with the purchase price of SLXP. Paying the right price versus over paying up to $205/share.
You are right. I think several started drinking the Pyott koolaid defense that he mounted in defense of Allergan. My only complaint is that VRX did not refute that very well But i think that hangover is over with Time to close Salix and achieve better than expected integration results and continue to outperform
