You may be right. Several years ago I shorted a few hundred thousand shares each of RSH and JRCC at around $6 and that didn't turn out so well. Wait a minute. Actually JRCC went bankrupt and RSH is about to go bankrupt.
Do you have any more 5 year low stocks on your list?
NO ONE here is going to give me credit. They would much rather bash shorts and push their unsupported theses. It's hard to admit when you're wrong. They would much rather go down with the ship.
u got to give him credit, I for one sold all cde and bought slv, I am overall + on silver, cde got problems
that is y the stock is down and heavily shorted-
I am ahead on cde and slv and gld and miners-got iag, kgc, and abx-ahead on those also-
expect huge break out on silver and gold, in the not too distant future-the down risks gets lower and lower
with time -cde has to prove that they can make $ on low silver px=NOT LOSE $
tahoe-sure hasthe power behind them-goldcorp/glamis---that is some mine with grade and long life--
Nobody cares where you shorted. You are a spam troll. You fill up the board with new posts that say nothing. Then you erase and repeat. Unless, you think this going to the pink sheets you going to have to buy some where. That would make you a buyer.
different styles of presentation and corporate stances...study and pick your favs...
Friedland's Ivanhoe still looking into future for production...but continues impressive work on three fronts...
Interesting that South African gov't still hasn't ratified Flatreef agreement...and end of May, shaft sinking
was put on hold by Ivanhoe, awaiting that "final" contract agreement...seems as though the "Democratic
Republic of Congo" mines will be operational WAY before the Flatfeef...which may be good in giving
Ivanhoe time to produce funds to develop that...Africa is key to lots of kmportant world future events...
as China's focus ratifies...
of course...as Edmund points out about Tahoe...Central America is worth lots of attention too...
but...the American Dept. of State is bogged in old world and middle eastern games...for some
infathomable reason, IMO...
1'.6 mill being spent on drilling for rest of year-at least feasibility knocked off 180 mill and brought build down to 300 mill--nice to have a 10mill oz producer in back pocket-taho reported huge earnings and super low aisc they will be on prowl soon to get away from one mine status--
BTW, if u need a list of shorts to work from. E-mail me. I have 50+ in my list ATM. Nothing you'll find on any of the mainstream "news for the masses" pump n dumpers. If you haven't figured it out yet, the big funds buy the news feeds. That's just part of trading.
I want see your trade data. In 2 1/2 years I have NEVER lost even 1 penny trading CDE. Seems you may have sour grapes or something. If what we do does not work, then we change. Definition of insanity is doing the same and expecting a different result-Mark Twain. If you need help, ask. If it's a negative thought pattern feedback loop self induced delusion, you may need professional help.
I tend to overweight JNUG with respect to other miners in major trading portfolio. Thus far, the moves have not gone against me. In fact, first entry was very close to all time lows.
Sometimes I sell at near term resistance IF I want the cash for another trade or for family needs, so NEVER attempt to follow ME or anyone else on message boards.
I'm more confident at this point that both the technicals for gold and for JNUG are turning positive, but technical analysis is only an evaluation of PROBABILITIES. It's not a prophecy or a firm PREDICTION.
Miners are still extremely oversold, especially IF gold/silver are on the cusp of some stronger upmoves.
Remains to be seen.
Remember, my strategy is to sell ALL 'trading' shares (sometimies keeping only a tiny 'bookmark' quantity) if a move goes against me BEFORE I have large losses.
Meanwhile, go CDEbiscuit, which has been moving VERY NICELY overall since the cc.
NOT impossible for trend to change in gold/silver OR miners or individual miners, but overall, the industrly has been beaten down with respect to most others. Ratio charts of various sorts are interesting to me.
Triple long/triple short ETFs may be TREACHEROUS. NOT a rec for JNUG, CDE or any other long or short position. ONLY a rec to do thorough DD and to include the most professional technical analysis (your own) in various timeframes in that DD. Also a rec to INVESTIGATE some message board information, even from shorts, IF it is clearly relevant, but not to allow short/basher negativity to interfere with one's judgment.
