AAAAAAAAAAAAAnd they broke there own rules and just released a new 8k orders report off schedule. Here is what they said this time:
As disclosed in the Company's 8-K filed October 16, 2015, the Company has transitioned the release of orders data and detailed segment analysis from monthly to quarterly, with releases scheduled to occur in the months of December, March, June and September each year. However, we may periodically make off-cycle, more limited releases, such as this one, to provide management the opportunity to discuss our orders performance with the investment community.
They don't issue monthly 8k s anymore. You just have missed this note:
"In the future, the Company will transition the release of orders from monthly to quarterly. The next release will occur in the month of December and will include orders data for the months of September, October and November. Quarterly releases will be scheduled for the months of December, March, June and September.
Smart money know Farr has no idea what he's doing.
so why is the stock selling off today? They have decent earnings and it will go ex div. next week and I fail to see the problem. What am I missing? I guess its name isn't Amazon.
Warren Buffet wouldn't be interested in this rescue dog. ENP's major competition are all owned by switchgear companies; ABB or Siemens (already mentioned as evaluating a deal) would be the logical strategic buyers. Or possibly, but not likely, a hedge fund or financial buyer. ENP's previous sales and earnings issues are why Big E is dumping them. Ironic since Dave Farr, as an adolescent Emerson puke, put the deal together in 1986 to buy Liebert, a major part of ENP.
Huh? Still talking about negative currency impacts. Are we going to have those when the dollar goes down as well as up? Something smells about that. Still, seems like they are managing expenses OK. They just need to have their end markets start to improve. The oil business may improve slowly over the next year if prices stabilize in the $40 to $50 range.
Not seeing the 8-K for Mar. orders. Last year it was released on Apr. 24. Most months by the 23rd or so. Will be interesting to see how it goes as the excuse of the strong dollar needs to fade away.
