You must be stupid...you work a theory until it doesn't work anymore...Ryan Air has completely changed its strategy in the last year.....AND IT'S WORKING
This is the same company that has reviewed, designed and could not implement stand up seating and many other cheap profit strategies. They did experiment with pay lavs, as well as fees for everything such as credit card usage, bags etc. It is a horrid excuse. Im not saying dont invest and make money, heck thats what we are here for but be leary when their passenger stream dwindles.
There are no charges for everything including the LAV. This is a false statement. 100 Million passengers per year cant be wrong, right????. This is the most popular airline in the world .
As an airline pilot I can relate to the product offered. This is by far the most subpar airline on the planet. That being said customers after a while get sick of charges for everything including the lav!
2010 we got $2.13, 2012 we got $ 2.19, We could get $2.50 this year.......however.......in those years O'leary put off buying planes....with100 planes on firm order and rumors of another hundred-plane order for new 200-seat 737 max we probably won't be getting a divy for many years.....but I'm ok with that........O'leary is the best in the business .......I won't second guess him .......
the price on the prime dublin listing is 7.37 ( euro ) , allowing for an exchange rate of 1.32 = $ 9.72
times 5 = an ADR price of $ 48.64
In the US, deceptive trade practices are mitigated by the strength of consumer laws. The fragmentation of the EU community allows this company to capitalize on unknowing consumers. Their use of punitive, uncompromising and usury like fees have burned many a customer. These practices will come back to haunt them.
Why does the market price this stock at a significant premium to the majors? The issue I have is unethical behavior generally runs deep into an organization. It may run deep in customer service, but is there a Chinese Wall as it relates to Finance and Accounting?? Inevitably organizations such as this will have their day. If you are long in the US, do a few searches on the web with respect to customer service. Amazing what you will find. After doing so, no reason not to SHORT. The airline sector has had a good run...expect a pull back... If oil doesn't get these guys, their customer service will. Certainly someone also needs to look into how much revenue is coming from very non-traditional revenue which cannot be sustained.
81,000,000 passengers per year want to fly with them. . That is nearly 500,000 flights. The newest safest and most efficient fleet in the world. Imagine they Could double their profit by adding 5euro per fair
was because they charge passengers criminal fees to print boarding passes. 70 euroes Women your purse is considered a carry on. Just plain old ripping off passengers. esp Americans
