trade, how funny is that? Pilots make $200k a year and somehow you think you are a "working man". You sound like hillary. But the sad part, you had to ride in the right seat all your life. someone needs to be that guy.
Yea, those damn Unions, how dare they fight for & protect Americas working man against Corporate GREED and the republicans
You would think these would be disappearing but there is always something. I kind of thought the ebola situation was an opportunity of the decade if not one of a lifetime.
Scott, as you probably know my son-in-law is in the oil business. He was given advance notice by Parsley Energy that they were adding 18 rigs starting in July. He works out of Midland, Texas. His business is very good and getting better.
Also just wanted to say the Rig count rose by 12 rigs. I guess instead of ebola vs jet fuel, this time it will be jet fuel vs whatever anyone can throw at airlines. I'm starting to feel like owning airline stocks is like adopting #$%$ against the world philosophy. Suppose that is a good thing I would prefer to not align myself with the market herd.
Going long here ...it has bottomed....back to mid 40s....the numbers will be cut on earnings and aal will move even higher ......more routes...2 mexico flights added from lax..another gru.. Added a syd....large growth just out of lax alone...
Every commentator I've heard on the matter thinks this case is joke. I guess executives should go around saying "we're going to be undisciplined and add capacity willy nilly so we can then sell those tickets at a loss and go bankrupt again"
The fact that the DOJ suggests threr is colusion to restrain capacity does not equate with the fact that Delta, UAL,American and Southwest will combined have capital expenditures of nearly $10.0 billion in 2015. The vast tbulk of the expenditures are for neww aircraft. It is not colusion when you annouce your intentions in your quartly reports.Just another caet of government stupidity.
I agree man. Except the issue is how much is cut. Cutting capacity is an allowed tactic but is it being abused. I think not...the DOJ is a huge scam. I still think someone getting in cheap. Sadly not sure if this will go to $60-70 even $50 seems the top at this point. WS may not see logic for a long time if scam artist analysts and HF keep these games up. If earnings is really good then we have a chance for upper $40s again. It's sad that you pick undervalued companies at seemingly attractive entry price and then you're down $7-8 pts thanks to these crooks. I'm about to just go 80% blue chip big name companies and trade a little of the rest because they don't want investors getting rewarded for picking out value companies anymore. Good luck.
That's why it is not only a bunch of BS but also illogical so if they want to try to #$%$ people and have a solid argument they failed by contradicting everything. I learned the hard way that logic may not be found for a long while and we have to deal with this stupidity for a bit. They are living a lie if they think these stories will fly though. It's funny how #$%$ stocks with negative growth can still attract buyers yet a stock making a ton of profit and trading at such low valuation doenst at LEAST climb somewhat to a more down to earth share price. Like $50-55. I don't get who has a hidden agenda on this...selling pressure must be shorting but who would short a company with numbers like this and has positive outlook. Makes no damns sense when SOOOO many companies out there they can short with way less risk an d more profit potential. Thanks why im mostly against shorting. I would bet its easier to borrow shares on the airlines stocks compared to a smaller company which may be struggling but still this is just nuts all around.
