CRCUF is up over 10% again today, intraday it hit a fresh 52-high, for the second day in a row.
The stock is currently priced less than AUNFF, might be worth a look
The Chair and co-founder is Bradford Cooke, the founder and CEO of EXK. Last year the company acquired a silver/gold mine in Zacatecas Mexico, there are very good gold grades, the company focus is on gold, and they announced today they have leased a nearby gov't mill
The plan is for them to start producing this year, to the tune of 18K Au eq oz, and they also have a bigger gold project in Canada, New Polaris. After they start producing in Mexico, IMO it is just a matter of time until they restart Au production in Canada at New Polaris.
The main reason to consider CRCUF is the quality management. You can have great assets and without quality management your still screwed. I got the MEAOF shares to prove it! Good luck to you guys.
The Class Action
In 2013, a proposed class action was commenced against Aurcana Corporation (“Aurcana”) and certain others. The plaintiffs allege that the defendants knew, or ought to have known, that the stated resource levels of and the production at the Shafter Mine were false or misleading.
On April 10, 2015, Justice Patterson of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice approved the settlement. A copy of the settlement agreement, the approval order, the plan of allocation, the notice summarizing the settlement and other court-approved documents may be downloaded from the Documents page of this website.
The “Class” or “Class Members” means all persons, other than an Excluded Person or an Opt-Out Party, who acquired Eligible Securities during the Class Period, June 24, 2011 to and including December 19, 2013.
leny raped it to the point of no return.
the good old boys are just collecting a pay check till there is nothing left. we are left with the shaft-er mine . you know the one that had all kinds of silver then no silver so they idled it . now they want to start it back up? really? let the bs begin again. what a scam.
Doesn't matter to me now, I have liquidated my shares. Whether or not it proves a mistake remains to be seen. I am investing in better gold/silver miners now.
they just sold the only mine that was producing and we got the shaft-er mine. this is the mine that the first set of samples looked so so good. that is what the ceo said in the cc. then another set of samples and there was nothing much. so they shut it down. now they get rid of the good mine and keep the shaft-er mine and are going to start it back up. really? looks like another scam to keep taking money from the stockholders until they rape everything out of it . then they go to another scam. the good old boys are alive and well.
it mean we were left with the mine not producing. that means it is all over. the good old boys just want to still be paid for doing nothing.
Therein lies the key though - I think this old turd will do "ok" IF the silver price shows some ability to recover, however at this point it has been languishing for years with no sign of sustained upward momentum. With no one to check them, it would seem the manipulation can and will continue.
I'm in the same"boat" .....down 99% on this dog of a scam! thought that it had good info on that Texas mine ,but it was all BS! I don't know how it could get any worse from here, other than go belly up,but those Mexican mines are actually doing OK....So this stock just gets buried in my portfolio until something "happens"!
Still like these three better, CRCUF, MEAOF, SHVLF. MEAOF management is weak. CRCUF management is very strong, SHVLF is also strong. GLTA
Not exactly sure what it will mean to AUNFF, however my shares are at a point of holding until it goes belly up, gets bought or turns around. I do believe though, that the gold and silver manipulation is coming unraveled. I just don't see how either metal can be held back much longer.
they have run it down to nothing. lied about the shafter mine. taken all shareholders money. just good old boys taking money for doing nothing. how much longer can they keep it going? couple reverse splits will be in the works. i mean we are talking junk here.
Might try to buy shares of this stock, they certainly are cheap enough. very low price to sales ratio. GLTA
You could buy other cheap mining shares. I used to own AUNFF shares, but I lost the faith.
Here are few cheap miners that I own:
SHVLF, mines gold and silver in Mexico, has nice balance sheet, good conservative management, trades for under 10 cents.
MEAOF, Canadian gold junior, nice properties, lousy management, trades for under 5 cents.
CRCUF, they got a couple of deals in the works, a couple of nice properties, a lot of managerial talent with the "vision-thing", trades for under 5 cents.
These stocks are a place to hide as the markets implode. MEAOF was even up on Friday.
