  • Pivotal Day Volume Very Heavy ICLR 57.00

    Range...55.85....58.02.....57.05

Around 11:45 we have nearly 250,000 volume.

    Sincerely,
    Carolyn Novice

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • Range ….57.96….58.65…..58.54

A Classic collector’s item. Gartley shares his knowledge of such topics as major, intermediate and minor trends, tenets of the Dow Theory, Triangles, Moving Averages, Gaps, Volume of Trading, Breath-of-the-Market, Figure Charts, Selecting the right stocks plus detailed instructions on trading with price oscillators. Primary Conception

Through long experience, it is generally conceded by technical students that:
    1. When a volume trends to increase during price declines, it is a bearish indication.
    2. When volume tends to increase during advances, it is a bullish indication.
    3. When Volume tends to decrease during price declines, it is a bullish.
    4. When volume tends to decrease during price advances, it is bearish.

It is important to note that the above definitions or premises are concerned with the changes in volume. They do not refer to volume at any particular level.

    Historical characteristics:
    NUMBER OF SHARES FLOAT.
    BULL OR BEAR MARKET

    VOLUME AND THE FOUR TRENDS

    1. THE LONG TERM TREND: Both growth and earnings lead to higher PE.
    2. MAJOR TRENDS: The entire group is moving up due to innovation as in technology.
    3. INTERMEDIATE TRENDS: The entire group is down due to political uncertainty.
    4. MINOR TRENDS. All the banks are down due to Long-term Subprime Loan problems

    Good Luck!

    Sincerely,

    Carolyn Novice

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • World markets are down sharply and some of the index stocks, like MSFT and CAT are creating big down move.

ICLR is independent and should only have temporary short impact of selling.

On October 22, 2014………….. ICLR made a new High

    Volume …..10,391…..very heavy
    High ………..59,81…..
    On Balance Volume……282, 898

    On January 26, 2015
    Volume …..2,725…..very low
    High ………..58.06…..
On balance Volume……306,203…..Higher than old high on October 22, 2014

Volume ….10,391 – 2,725 =7,666….we need to remove the over head supply.

It will take a few days trading below 59.81 and above 58.06 and volume 7,666…766,600, before stock is ready for higher altitude deep breath gliding.

    Good luck!

    Sincerely,

    Carolyn Novice

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • Momentum = Change in Price X Volume

We now have nice Change in price, but volume should come soon to justify.

    Range …58.00….56.56…57.95
    Volume …56,260……..11:06am

We need some consolidation in this area for short time, for a day or a few hours.

European markets are strong so far, we can expect the trend for next 20 minutes.

In US we may get the up trend confirmed after 3:00pm or when the volume exceeds 250,000…so far not sure.

    Good luck!

    Sincerely,

    Carolyn Novice

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • Here what IBD says?
The buy point is 59.91. See if Icon can punch through that price on volume at least 40%-50% higher than normal.

Volume is 21,760 at 10:12 low for start

You can be one step ahead and take your pick. Small consolidation so far but no big bids, volume is low.

Only think is if Euro bottoms out around these levels, we can get a sudden reaction to European securities.

    Good luck!
    Sincerely,

    Carolyn Novice

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

Seven Pillars for Success ICLR 57.24

    by carolyn_novice Jan 25, 2015 8:49 PM

stay on your board also.. the post that got you ticked off involved ICON.. so you were off base

  • Stock trading activity makes it a strong new leader for this next up move in the market.

There is very little overhead supply at new high. Consolidation phase is nearly over and this is a good opportunity to add to your portfolio.

There are SEVEN PILLARS OF STOCK MARKET PRACTICE necessary for success.
    1. Determine whether the market is in a “bear” or “bull” trend.
Then determine further whether it is a major, intermediate, or minor trend.
    TRADE WITH THE TREND!

    2. Determine which groups of stocks are the strongest.
TRADE IN STRONG GROUPS FOR ADVANCE! TRADE IN WEAK GROUPS FOR DECLINE!

    3. Select the strongest stocks in these particular groups.
TRADE IN STRONG STOCKS FOR ADVANCE! TRADE IN WEAK STOCKS FOR DECLINE!

    4. BUY ONLY ON REACTIONS-not on advances!
SELL AND SHORT ONLY ON ADVANCES-not on declines!

    5. Place a mental or (if you do not watch the tape) actual stop-loss order of two or three points on your trades.
BE AT ALL TIMES PROTECTED AGAINST POSSIBLE LOSSES!
CLOSE OUT WHEN TRADE GOES AGAINST YOU.

    6. Protect your profits by stop-loss orders. Let your profits grow when you see your stocks advancing.
    HOLD OUT FOR LARGER PROFITS!

    7. Do not hesitate to take your profits; you may be able to re-buy the same stock at lower prices.
SELL WHEN YOU THINK THE MARKET IS DUE FOR A REACTION!
SELL AT THE TOP * * * NOT AT THE BOTTOM
BUY AT THE BOTTOM NOT AT THE TOP

ICLR Stock rallied on HIGH VOLUME and will most likely consolidate at low volume in a trading range above these prices.

    Thanks.

I do my homework, and I am a very serious investor. I am not only on the mailing list, I also call, visit and check with the company on subject of future interest, before investing.

Hedge funds can sell big blocks and prove both of us wrong; it takes buyers and serious inventors as well as speculator like you to make the market.

Kindly no more responses, other than serious subject on stock on the right message board.

    Good luck!

  • Amarantus Forms Alzheimer's Disease Diagnostics Scientific Advisory Board
    January 22, 2015 7:00 AM GlobeNewswire

SAN FRANCISCO and GENEVA, Jan. 22, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Amarantus BioScience Holdings, Inc. (AMBS), a biotechnology company focused on developing diagnostics in neurology, and therapeutic products in the areas of neurology, psychiatry, ophthalmology and regenerative medicine, announced that it has established an Alzheimer's disease Diagnostics Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) and appointed three internationally-renowned specialists in Alzheimer's disease (AD) and neurological disorders, Paula T. "I am pleased to announce the appointments of such an esteemed trio of Alzheimer's researchers to Amarantus Diagnostics' inaugural Scientific Advisory Board," said Gerald E. Commissiong, President & CEO of Amarantus. 1. Forget the news, remember the chart. You're not smart enough to know how news will affect price. The chart already knows the news is coming.
    2. Buy the first pullback from a new high. Sell the first pullback from a new low. There's always a crowd that missed the first boat.
    3. Buy at support, sell at resistance. Everyone sees the same thing and they're all just waiting to jump in the pool.
    4. Short rallies not selloffs. When markets drop, shorts finally turn a profit and get ready to cover.
    7. Exhaustion gaps get filled. Breakaway and continuation gaps don't. The old traders' wisdom is a lie. Trade in the direction of gap support whenever you can.
    10. If you have to look, it isn't there. Forget your college degree and trust your instincts.
    12. The trend is your friend in the last hour. As volume cranks up at 3:00pm don't expect anyone to change the channel.
    18. Trends never turn on a dime. Reversals build slowly. The first sharp dip always finds buyers and the first sharp rise always finds sellers.
    20. Beat the crowd in and out the door. You have to take their money before they take yours, period.

    Good luck!

Time to think for long-term investment, ICLR is very volatile and daily and weekly up and down more than 2 to 4 points is normal. This is due to very few small individual players. Tape watching is not helpful. Most likely within a year we could see a split.

    Sincerely,

    Carolyn Novice
