    Stock Price vs. Revenue

    by stockexpert111 Sep 17, 2014 9:59 AM

    stockexpert111,

Thx but I don't have much to contribute because I haven't been following this holding of mine for a long time. I'm down huge on paper and resigned to just waiting it out. Pop in here just once n a while. Today I asked you this in another message Topic but will just re-ask it again here:

"revenue from that side of business is too small" (DELL or Brazil)

If you had to guess a % of revenue from that side of business, what might that number be? Opinions from others welcome.

How soon would you guess the "deal with DELL or Brazil" might start producing revenue? Would this alone likely climb us back to $5 Shr?

    by dgroves0 Sep 18, 2014 12:32 PM

Are they clearing the decks for the CTO?

That is a huge amount at one time. Remember when they said they were a "software" company?

News Flash - The GIBBERISH REPORT

    by pac257 Sep 18, 2014 2:54 PM

Pac, You need to grow up and learn how to communicate. Every time you write something, it comes across very childish and gibberish. Go back to school and finish your degree or GED whichever might be the case.

News Flash - The GIBBERISH REPORT

    by pac257 Sep 18, 2014 2:54 PM

See..... Most folks who don't have the advantage of a GIBBERISH REPORT SUBSCRIPTION would....ah... er...um... INCORRECTLY CONCLUDE (Yeah, that's the ticket) that:

Vonage... GROWING, "more/less 100% per year" for the "last five years", means a CLEAR GROWTH TREND has been established (5 YEARS), but if you had read THE GIBBERISH REPORT, you would know that Vonage is a "non growth company", so you would ignore FACTS like that.

Aren't you glad you get THE GIBBERISH REPORT.... FREE

I SURE AM... I would be HOPPING MAD if I had to ACTUALLY PAY FOR THE RAG

Good luck to all good people.

  • You will read all kinds of GIBBERISH about Vonage NOT being a GROWTH company.

    HILARIOUS

Funny....How even THE GIBBERISH REPORT admits:

"Think about it this way: in last five years share price has appreciated more/less 100% per year. For non growth company such as this one it is way out of touch with reality."

What a STUPENDOUSLY STUPID AND CONTRADICTORY STATEMENT THAT IS!!

So......... Vonage is GROWING, "more/less 100% per year", but Vonage is a, "non growth company".

Got all the bases covered there, boys and girls - PURE DOUBLE TALK GIBBERISH

    Yeah, that's the ticket.

Good luck to all good people.

"We will see record quarterly/ ttm revenues in 7 months".
Oh,finaly I have uncovered what's underneath your never ending declaration of "undevalued VG".
It is the HOPE,worst enemy of small speculator.Think about it this way: in last five years share price has appreciated more/less 100% per year. For non growth company such as this one it is way out of touch with reality.Technically speaking long term share price has shown extreme relative strenght but that's never good reason for using your favorite terminology.

SSome of these patent apps sort of sounds like frequency hopping. Maybe they're coming out with some new technology that will prevent Comcast from throttling their calls by hopping around to different IP addresses like a VPN.

Thanks, dg..... If we had to rely on yahoo.... We wouldn't know diddly.

Considering Vonage's TOTALLY DOMINANT LEADERSHIP in this new VOIP DISRUPTIVE TECHNOLOGY, another 18 Patents applied for in just 1 day to ADD TO OVER 240 PATENTS ALREADY APPLIED FOR, makes things very clear:

    BY FAR: VONAGE #1

Must be the reason certain DRIVE-BY-BASHERS posing as ALLEGED LONGS (and their THUMBS DOWN IDIOT PALS) can't find the STONES to take my challenge and discuss VOIP: The Disruptive Communications Technology of the 21st Century.

    LIKE I SAID

    Can you hear me now?

Good luck to all good people.

dg..... It amazes me how nice you are to these reptiles with MULTIPLE ALIASES who can't answer the simplest questions of credibility themselves.

They don't want your FACTS..... They've got perfectly good and completely irrelevant BS

On the other hand..... They do make perfect foils when you drop the FACTS on them. That's why they usually go QUIET like they just fell off the planet when you crush them.

THAT IS..... WHEN THEY DON'T CHANGE THEIR ALIASES...... AGAIN.

It is said that, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery".....

GOOD LUCK TO ALL GOOD PEOPLE.... JUST THE OPPOSITE TO BAD PEOPLE

Good luck to all good people.

"Who cares about lower revenues for five straight years right?"

seymourprofit. I have put those numbers in print, I feel the trend has changed, We will see record quarterly/ ttm revenues in 7 months.

full year, 2014, Vonage will report the BEST annual Revs in three years. RIGHT NOW the ttm Revs are the best in two years. ***

    AGAIN the numbers:
    EST. ttm 2014 ___ $878M (6% growth YOY) - best revs in 3 years
    EST. ttm 3rd q __ $871M
    2014 ttm 2nd q __ $855M***
    2013 __ $829M
    2012 __ $850M
    2011 __ $876M

By 2nd quarter they will be reporting record earnings. imo

I've been wrong before, you can laugh at the numbers if they prove wrong!

    Yeah that's the ticket.

Good luck to all good people, and pumpers, too.

How far off are "the deal with DELL or Brazil operation"?

I am wondering if the novelty of VOIP in a small co like VG is enough to compete, considering all the larger mobile phone carriers doing wireless now. Margins have to be small. How does VG remain price competitive? Does the advantage still exist? kg

    dgroves0,

Thank you for the data. Helps me quite a bit to see these comparisons. Sort of points to the whole telecommunications sector performing flat the past two years. This is consistent with how my Fidelity mutual fund has performed (not performed during the same period): "Fidelity Select Comms Equip Port (FSDCX)". So, the question is: how long before the telecommunications sector turns Bull again? kg
