$11,232.67....Not bad change for a few hours. Will Re-Short on the next pop, I mean PUMP'N DUMP...
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Sold out around 10 (couldn't trade this morning) I'll buy back in when it settles back under 9. Still believe in the company long term. Just think it got ahead of itself. We should see another large pop in May when Hoby hits the stage again in the Q2 earnings call. Thirteen million shares churned today.
I saw that bounce; but then it backed from 9.90 range.
What do you think; it will go back to 11.00 and subsequently to 12.00 range?
I personally think it is a buy and can go even further higher.
Earnings were fantastic especially when almost everyone was expecting them to miss earnings. I cannot anyone would short now
I still think a sub $9 close. Congrats on your $. I'm so deep in the $ short, gonna ride this for a while. Earnings were very speculative and based way in the future on that.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
My work is finished here. With proper trading techniques I made three great trades on this stock from the low 5's to 9.85. Starting with 400 shares I had 3000 at the end. In parting as this story is over (unless a buyout in which case the price is always at least 50% over value=18) I recommend you read Wykoffs books "How I trade stocks" and "Studies in Tape Reading" Congratulations to all whom have been so helpful on this thread. In case you are wondering I have turned my attention to RBC.
Pigs get fat. Hogs get slaughtered, meaning don't be greedy... The easy money has been made on the long and short side today. This is a better long entry point than a short one. I like it a little closer to $9 though.
I was thinking the same thing, but that could mean it could get pumped up easy for a very short time. These things usually oscillate mid-day, but I don't see it so far.
I don't short, but I bought $10 puts at $0.40.
I usually don't jump so fast either, but this made no sense...putting it even more dangerous, but when a company reports lower sells, lower margins, and lower EPS for all of 2014, beating on a quarter, (the holiday quarter at that), doesn't cover the bad.
Planning a full 2014 EPS of $0.13 makes a PE over 70 and dead money.
I don't like to short pump, but I really can't find the redeeming qualities of this one that loyalists/conviction bias clings to.
