Naw. This dip an opportunity to get in at below Fair Value, already, Jmho. Draw good div while climb over 80.
I believe Aspertane is a neuro-toxin. Just because the FDA approves something does NOT mean it is safe to use! Money talks and BIG money screams!
Wasn't just isolated to FDA approval. European approval as well. I am no expert on Aspertane but a good read on the drug on Wikipedia and many other websites beaides reveals that it has been a scare target for decades with no evidence it is harmful except if it is in an acidic condition. Unless there is real scientific studies multiple then there is no story here.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
My local grocery store seems to have pulled Sundrop from store shelves :-(
I enjoy Sundrop brand a lot. Unique flavor. I wish it was offered in restaurants and fast food chain fountains.
It is great in one aspect that Dr. Pepper lacks an international presence like Pepsi / Coke, because the dollar has rallied higher. This negatively impacts companies with a large international exposure versus DPS making the bulk of their earnings in North America.
Jumped today to $78.50. Getting closer to Jim Cramer's $80 range , Then maybe $100 range???? One should be into their DRIP to $$$$ cost average.
Yes the Keurig deal was unexpected good news for this stock. Guess we hit the $80s a little earlier than I thought we would, which I was expecting after the earnings report instead.
I don't think it makes any sense really that a beverage stock pulls back when gas prices drop since beverages are shipped from a bottling facility to stores by semi-truck. The rising value of the dollar also shouldn't be a big issue here since the majority of sales is in America. Is there a currency negative impact from the surging dollar that I don't know about?
