On the Republican side, the .01% is starting to get the message that they DO NOT represent the rest of the Countries' Republicans.
Trump's nomination comes despite Millions being spent to oppose him.
I am not a huge Trump supporter, but he is different from what we have had for years.
A definition of insanity is taking the same action and expecting a different result...
Trump's nomination at least represents a different action, we will have to see about results...
It appears the Power Brokers of both parties are trying once again to shove their preferred candidates down our throats.
Upset with our Presidential Choices?- Then just don't vote in the November Presidential election!!!!????
Quite frankly this may sound juvenile and myopic, but there is a method to this madness.
First of all, the power brokers of each party assume the candidate of the other party is so repulsive, most of their party members will surely support their hand picked candidate.
Secondly, one party will lose and if the voter turn out is low the losing party may think twice before again shoving a candidate down own throats.
Finally, if voter turn out is less than 50% of all registered voters the winning party's candidate cannot claim wide spread support for his or her platform which could influence their decisions during their first term.
Think about it folks, we do have an alternative to having the party power brokers and their empowered elite friends constantly shoving their candidates/shills down our throats!
If the Teamsters support them as they should this will make the 1997 losses like coffee money . How greedy can management be ? The more they make the more they feel entitled to take away . They raise their prices on a whim and operate as if they are doing all their employees a favor employing them . They should come under heavy pressure to settle from their biggest accounts who play plenty and deserve better .
Looks like after 5 years of foot dragging by ATL, the Pilots and the Teamsters may be having a Work Stoppage this Fall. After the Talks in Washington fail next week, the Pilots may be released. And the Teamsters have given their word to support them. There goes billions in Revenue real quick. And Customers lost for good.
Not FDX management obviously. Which is growing like a Weed and has Labor peace. Soon FDX will overtake UPS once and for all. Sad. OZ Nelson would be rolling in his grave.
How is the Revenue Growth treating everyone? Nonexistent.
I have heard that the union has given up on you and your continuous complaining
that is sad' GROW UP quit your job if you do not like the company
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Damn right they know what there doing. But what they have to ask their self is not if they could if they should, keep shaving time off our timecards, firing pregnant women, delivering illegal cigarettes, saying they delivered a NDA when there still in the building so its not late. And most of all firing all the old timers that are just about to retire. This old geezer had a heart attack at the pump while going to work. I feel bad I told him the new pension news
Sentiment: Strong Sell
there is thousands of investors , ups employees buy and invest in UPS stock , but we continue to have to put up with this NUT who claims to be the wizard of finance. he will post the same story year after year trying to get anybody to agree with him and has lost his ying yang shorting UPS sorry SON its not working UPS is not the only company he try's to do this to READ BACK OVER HIS PREVIOUS POSTS
Sentiment: Strong Buy
The fact is, if UPS takes the charge, it costs them 3.8 billion. If they don't the cost is higher. In 2007. UPS owed it's pension plan 2.7 billion. Today, it owed Central States 3.8 Billion and Teamsters $8 billion. Goodbye Charlie
LIP FLAPPING BIRDBRAIN is at it again tying to get everybody to sell so he can finally make a few penny's shorting this stock if you will check his previous posts he does the same with other stocks JUST IGNORE him he is just a leach
Sentiment: Strong Buy
What the word "charge" means is a play on earnings. It's actually cumulative investment losses. Their main plan has $8 billion in cumulative ;losses. If UPS were to recognise that their ROA is actually 3% and not the 8.75% they CLAIM, they'd have an additional $8 billion charge and their annual contribution for take down EPS by about $2 a share.
UPS isn't earning money. It's all just smoke, mirrors and actuarial science
Apparently, UPS agreed to pay additional money if CSPF retiree benefits were ever lawfully reduced when they bought their way out of the Central States Pension Fund several years ago. Is this charge already factored in to the stock price?
MSCH - the dividend for the stock over the last 10 years have increased from .68/sh to 3.12/sh (annual dividend). While the YIELD has always been ~3%, this means that his DIVIDEND if he purchased the stock back @ $40/sh is now yielding 8% annually PLUS any appreciation of the stock. Your gold, while it may go up as you describe is non-cash producing. Oh and that is if Hunkey doesn't reinvest the dividend elsewhere.
There are, in fact, many different plans, based on geography...
Some areas are Teamster or Machinist Union plans (Mechanics, Maintenance), Pilots have Plan(s) (I personally have no idea how these are administered) others are Company administered, (the case for all Management and some if not all non Union Clerical).
You need to be VERY specific when looking at each plan.
