By the power of deduction, it looks like gross billings are total billings issued, revenues are billings that have been settled, leaving unrecognised billings as those yet to be paid by e.g. hospital/insurance company.

No where have I seen mention of a discount and, seeing as management has explicitly said that medicare are settling at $3500, I don't see where others have got this idea from

Most of the naysayers here are either shorts or short term traders with little patience or lack of understanding of how small caps work. They have one thing in common they have lost a lot of money on the stock by buying at the wrong time or shorting incorrectly. They are very bitter and therefore negative and so their posts are to considered worthless to longs here who are looking for more accurate and unbiased comments such as yours here.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

Looks like we should only consider cash revenue, not gross billings before discounts. Strange way of reporting.

Was thinking the same thing. Although I don't remember JK being able to string that many sentences together. I think Johny's mommy finally took away his borrowed computer so now he has to use the public computer at the School for the Insane and Hard of Knowing.

got to say your earlier use of 'death spiral' and now 'turds' bares an uncanny resemblance to john kelley's 'style' of writing

  • Have to disagree with a lot of the naysayers on here.

Anybody who has followed this stock long enough will know that ROSG is in the early stages of commercialising its business. A quick glance at the financials and it is not all doom and gloom as the usual suspects would like you to believe.

It is one thing to band around phrases like 'increasing negative margins' but another thing to understand why. Two of the biggest increases in expenditure last year came from Marketing (+$4m) and general/admin (+$1.2m). Add in another $500k extra spend on R&D and you have a full and valid explanation for these apparently worrisome 'increasing negative margins'.

In reality, this is exactly what one would expect to see and moreover, want to see, in a company expanding it's operations. More staff are being hired, more money is being spent on marketing initiatives/materials, and more money is being spent on enhancing an already healthy pipeline.

Now to the revs/billings. Revenues in Q1 have already reached approx $260k - 65% of the total for the whole of last year. As another poster has already mentioned, even at a zero rate of growth (which, given the substantial increases for the last two quarters, seems highly unlikely) projected over 2014, revenues would increase by 257%.

In the letter to shareholders last year, it was discussed that sample volumes increased 2.5 times in October and 5 times in November and samples processed increased by 50% month on month (another reason for that extra staff spend), so it isn't a stretch of the imagination to see that both will continue to increase at a healthy rate.

The other thing to note is the large number of unrecognised billings. There is more than a million dollars in unrecognised billings which should appear as revenues in due course. Should this happen in 2014 (and assuming no other unrecognised billings that will invariably appear later in the year are paid) then 2014 revenues could increase more than 500%.

Simple answer- If I knew that I'd be rich

  • A gross bill representing the total cost of a product or a service rendered without any deductions. From which you derive a recognized operational gross receipts that do not account for sales returns and allowances, cost of goods sold or any other deductible expenses. Gross receipts can include both rental and interest income. Once you deduct cost of goods sold you get your gross revenue. So if I read it correctly $1.1MM (GB) - $700K gives you that $400K for the whole year of 2013. Now in the 1-st quarter we have already $600K GB. From reading the report you may notice that cost of goods sold has a portion to be applied to future sales that means that going forward a relative cost of goods sold will go be less than in 2013. If the same rate of growth remain we may see a total GB in $3-4 MM for the year of 2014. which will be 15 times that of 2012 when they actually started commercial activity in the US. Not too shabby. So I personally do not see the PPS collapsing here. All depends on the CC and forward guidance. I would even expect an upgrade ... GLTA.

  • signs look at new support in the 3s. Hopeflly this stock can stabilize before it plunges into the 2s. The CFO call is just window dressing. If you are looking tomget into this stock I would say wait or dont as there are better companies like OXGN, OPXA, ABIO. ROSG is a great idea run by turds. This company is a pure spec play and as with spec plays, one needs to know the bottom. This last run up over 6 was for insiders to get out as rhe company has just pops left. They will release some PR that may or maynot pop the stock but the resistance is crushing into the 5s and 6s so that will be the ceiling for now. Comgrats to all that got out. Let us hope for a PR that causes the Algos to pump and dump a couple of more times as ROSG and I need to part ways.

  • After digesting all the "fascinating" posts made, my impression is that we are dealing with a trader that expected to make a large haul on ROSG in a short period of time but since this did not materialize he started dissing the stock and assuming a more jaded tone with outbursts of frustration with those posters who felt there was merit in this stock's potential.
