Just glancing at their quarter report, they look a lot like ROSG: growing sales big on % basis, but still small on $ basis, gross margins good, but not great and net margins still negative. Even the market cap and cash positive is very similar. It'll be interesting to see how they perform going forward.
Last week BIOC reported record revenue and had a great CC after the close of trading.
The BIOC talked about ROSG in the CC, as well.
Well worth owning some BIOC right now.
The "Liquid Biopsy" sector is getting red hot.
BIOC is the leader.
That's fine to say, but it's also rationalizing away corruption. At some point the "little dips" become a crash and an international crisis. Or have you forgotten 2008 already?
If we did not get these little dips from time to time, you would not have a decent opportunity to accumulate a substantial position... quit your whinning!
I absolutely agree with you, but where does one begin to make one's voice heard? I voted for the current president because I thought he was on the side of reform, but clearly the recession put him in the hands of the very institutional bankers he needed to attack. If the power of the presidency is not enough to effect change, who or what is? Peaceful protest made a lot of noise and news a year or so ago, but what came of that?
I don't mean to be fatalistic about the problem, but until the fraud is addressed head on by sincere politicians who see the reforms as necessary to make an even playing field for all, the only game in town includes having to accept the risks of a manipulated market. Eventually, the success of the company will overcome the destruction to share price done by WS and hedge funds. .
"The FGFR3 mutation analysis is part of the PersonalizeDx product line and addresses a market opportunity of approximately $250 million in the U.S. PersonalizeDx, a Rosetta Genomics company, was acquired by Rosetta Genomics last month. "
Some poster keeps ragging that management suck and that's not what I am seeing. More and more products in the pipeline coming to market, more and more partnerships and putting new assets to use withing a month is not bad management to me.
I continue to buy here.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I have to agree with the OP and NO I didn't sign on to be skimmed by high speed computer trading and it goes on every day. I personally had three winning positions in the sub $3.00 area that all in the same instant, the same instant, became flooded with a ton of volume and instantly took me out of winning positions.
This is wrong and as long as anyone is willing to accept it, nothing is going to change and the rich get richer at our expense. No, I did not sign on for fraud. You shouldn't either. Support reform of wall street and stop being used as fodder by those who think nothing of destroying your position to enrich themselves.
As for ROSG. I continue to buy.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
We do sign on for the risk when buying highly volatile stocks like this, but looking at the stock since the middle of December, it looks like it's in a pretty solid uptrend. Even if it fell back and held at or above the $3.25 area it would still be trending upward.
I'm feeling pretty good about holding right now and into the future. Reminds a lot of DEPO a couple years ago.
More good news about product launch. This company is gaining momentum with its commercial enterprises and associations. If the products are as beneficial as they sound, the company's steady rise in the coming years is once again confirmed.
Exactly right. Today is noise made by all of the above. Not a serious comment on any of the micro cap biotechnology stocks. Most of them are being knocked about by traders to skim pennies off of any given transaction. Not pretty, but as you say, it is part of the risk we enter into with these stocks. In any case, it is short term, and the trend can reverse as quickly as it started.
Any idea what a RNA based platform costs to develop? How few are underway? The true value of this company is forward looking, not looking back at the price history. When you fix the RNA, the DNA is repaired. Patience is an asset here.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
If you look at the history of ROSG trading, you'll see that is typical. Investors have been conditioned to sell on any spike, especially if the news has "future promise" implied. So now the spikes are softened.
On the other hand, we're not seeing huge selling the day after "good news." Perhaps we've turned the corner and the trend is up.
