jwm, do you understand the ingredient list? it is wildly better than jones soda ingredients. you are so funny. you will just post anything.
Carbonated Water, Natural Flavors, Blackberry Juice Concentrate, Malic Acid, Potassium Benzoate (To Ensure Freshness), Sucralose, Green Tea Extract, Red #40, Biotin 1% Trit. (Maltodextrin), Niacinamide (B3), D-Calcium Pantothenate (B5), Vitamin B12 0.1% (Mannitol), Vitamin D3, Pyridoxine HCI (B6).
you are behaving just like coke and pepsi would project and they dont know what to do. soda is nasty stuff and that is getting figured out now. 10 years from now it will be like cigarettes. people will not drink it. the lone exception will be craft and it will drunk in limited fashion. tea, water, light caloric beverages like sparkling ice are the trend. jen clue is doubling down on sales of soda to children. she thinks it is good business. you know, it just takes 3 or five years to really turn a company around.
this is probably the most intelligent thing that you posted in a long time.
soda sales are down in general. as difficult as it may be to believe, people are being more health conscious. Bloomberg has been vocal in NYC about this telling people to steer away from soda and instead go for flavored seltzer instead. and wouldn't you know it, in the supermarket Coke and Pepsi shelves are packed, and whatever seltzer is on sale that week is empty. I would never have believed it, but I see it happening.
personally, at home I've switched. I'd normally pick up whatever brand diet soda is on sale, since a couple months ago I grab the flavored seltzer. no big deal - it's bubbly, has flavor, and quenches my thirst. next step down is plain water ... I'll stick to the seltzer. if we go out for fast food or a restaurant, we all just get plain tap water.
I know we've seen this before. Good spring rollout followed by less than stellar sales. Shelf space does not equal revenue. You need consumers to buy the product for that. Time will tell. Tick Tock ans nuttie would say.....
they are also in all the Hanaford grocery stores in the north east. First time ever seeing them there.
I think Q2 will be a huge surprise to the up side.
gotta say this, I was shocked Saturday when I went to the Hyvee Store on Lake Street in Peoria. A few years ago they stocked Jones Soda, and it sold and the shelf was always empty. They had distribution problems and getting product tot he shelf was impossible. Now they have seven different 4 pak bottles, on the shelf stacked 4 deep. It will be interesting to see if it makes it through the year. I complained to Jones Management about loosing this major chain store in The Upper Midwest, and it seems they got their mojo back, and product back on the shelf. This is the Second instance of a store that discontinued product, going for round 2. Could be some surprises coming down the road....
People are doing did on celh and realizing it may be the next monster.
And I know the category, as an early Hans investor in 2004, when it first hit the c n g channel here in new england. In fact I was shouting from the rooftops to buy Hans.
This is a very well run biz, with 7 clinical studies, giving it an edge in the marketplace.
fun. be right. once, then tell me that i am wrong. go ahead and pump jones cuz you love jennifer. mmmmmm jennifer, kiss kiss. but, i have been entirely, 100% correct. jones is blowing chunks. seems that artificial flavors and coloring in kid flavored sodas are not a booming business. did you say that? no, no you didnt. frustrating huh fun. pumping away hoping that someone will believe you and buy your under water shares for $1. you probably work for the company. maybe you did the lobby. any real investor in jones now is furious at the persistent culture of failure that is tolerated by this board. notice all the insider buying? lol. right.
TELL THEM ABOUT THE SPRING TRIBUTE BOTTLES THAT ARE OUT!! PEOPLE DONT KNOW ABOUT THE BOTTLES!!! please everyone have faith in the CEO. omg omg. I KNOW!!! REDECTORATE THE LOBBY IN SPRING COLORS!!!! YESSSSSSS!!!! COME BACK. THERE WILL BE PASTELS.... sigh, sniff...
I have just under 1 million shares to sell, and I'm just getting started on liquidation. The Fountain thing fell through, and with no new shelves to fill, it's only going lower. Nuttie has been right all along. BK end of year.
now down over 22% from Monday's .40 price in volume at least 10 times the daily average combining yesterday and so far today,
How stupid do you want the folks to see you can be?
