    Drexler commitment

    by jedhir Dec 10, 2015 10:53 AM

any move positive is a good one at this point! but those are minor ones in my eyes. being down 70-80% in a yr or so means it needs a hell of a lot more than that. as I said, might dump a bunch of useless #$%$, take the hit now, run an ACTUAL commercial somewhere for the world to see besides body builders etc. I posted up few months back my pps is at 3.06 small position and asked board for thoughts few months back looking to average down to that same small positon cause it was and is tanking Drexler or not. I'd keep as I have your money aside and watch, hope, and pray:) we might be buying more at even lower pps if this keeps up. earnings reports still quite some time away. maybe words out already causing this continued drop. Have seen it many times before that's also why ive waited to buy down or even just hold my small and let what happens happen. hope yours isn't gonna be hurtful if it all goes south my friend or takes yrs to turn around:) here's hoping for good things for u !:)

I agree, cohencorp. I like the new UFC focus on training Team Elevation instead of direct UFC sponsorship. Less expensive and better for the fighters. I think it's reflective of a new marketing focus. I'm also glad to see Gregory and Estallela leave. Time for more mature and disciplined management.

thx for the sentiments. of course I know market down for quite some time now. been in it non stop one way or the other for umpteen yrs my friend both short term, mid term trading and base long term positions. broker for 35yrs. sold out to cash at 13k ish before the big crash, bought back few weeks later in varied index funds for the most part. always keep out 10% fun money for a stock here there etc etc like Dr. Frost stuff, some high dividend stuff whatever. so over time I'm fine and dandy thank god:) now if we just continue to say bye bye to stupid endorsements Tiger's bag logo, Jen Selter's #$%$, Kapernick etc etc we can move forward maybe quicker!

I doubt Drexler is worrying too much about the stock price. He's trying to turn around the company. Wynnefield, maybe. They are down about as much as me on their overall investment, I suspect.

Cohencorp, it's been a horrible overall market. Many stocks with much higher quality business parameters than MSLP are down much more than MSLP since early December. I bought shares sixty days ago for $2.09.

I hope 2016 rights the ship for this company.

60 days later and now below 2 bucks. wonder how Drexler and Wyn are feeling bout now. His saying "I got skin in the game" doesn't seem to be workin so good my fellow longs. keep thinkin we hit bottom so as to actually add to my position and average down, but this confounds even my 40yrs of equity investing. on paper, product and distribution locations are solid but the inner stuff might be beyond hope. Hears prayin we don't get crushed with a cheapo on the dollar buyout before a turn around if that ever happens.

Frost's net worth is about $ 3 billions , so what he owns on MSLP is almost nothing . It is safe only on OPK because he has about half of his net worth invested in OPK . A few years ago I had more than 10,000 shares MSLP but I sold all of them when the stock went down to about $ 9

  • Penny Stock 101 is a waste of time. Out of 10 of their "can't miss"m stocks 8 were loser and 6 were very big losers.

  • Just for the fun of it I tried that Penny Stock 101 and it was horrible. Out of 10 of their "Can't miss" Guaranteed to be winners 6 lost big time, one actually lost over 70%, one lost almost 45% and the other 4 were pretty substantial losers. One was a winner for a whopping, get ready, here it comes, 8%. Yes 8%, that was the best return of their 10 "Can't miss" stocks. The other 3, one was basically flat and the other 2 were small losers. There you have it. 1 winner, 1 about flat, 6 very big losers and 2 small losers. Now, take your hard earned money and buy their garbage if you think it's the right thing to do. P.S. MSLP is a strong buy. IMO, will probably more than double in 2016.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • I'm totally blown away. A few guys were bragging about their winnings on the yahoo message boards, so I decided to go to the 'Penny Stock 101' website (just google or yahoo search for it) and signed up to their email newsletter. (There is no charge to become a member) Their last 6 NASDAQ-listed winners in this Fall 2015 season ran for +33%, +45%, +58%, +64% +72%, and +116% gains. Do yourself a favor and get to that website right now, and become a member. I guarantee u will thank me later.

If he chooses to convert the note, he will own over 4 million shares of MSLP, or about 25% of the company. He obviously believes in the potential and has aligned his (and other executives') interests to better match shareholders. He would not assume the inherent risk for the simple 8% return. Also, Wynnefield has purchased an additional 229,414 shares from 10/6/15 to 11/5/15; maybe more since then?

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • On 12/7/15, MSLP issued a secured convertible note to Ryan Drexler for $6,000,000 at 8%, maturity 1/15/2017, which allows him to convert the loan to 2,608,696 shares if he chooses. This is in addition to his previous personal guarantee of MSLP's existing loans to $6.2 million. Credit Suisse issued an analyst report last month that places MSLP in the top five for market share in 3 of 5 categories. There are 4 products currently in the Top 50 Best Sellers at the bodybuilding website, and reviews of the products on both that site and Amazon are consistently excellent. The products are being sold via Costco, Walmart, GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, Amazon, bodybuilding site. This company finally has experienced leadership with fiscal discipline. They always had good products and amazing packaging. Drexler is committed to reducing unnecessary sponsorship costs, improving the supply chain, focusing only on profitable best sellers, and tying corporate compensation to performance (only options, not grants, moving forward). You owe it to yourself to read the letter he released today. This is a classic turnaround play available at a bargain price, because the market has not awakened to its potential. I more than doubled my position this morning.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy
