good advice, thanks. What would you do if it trades sideways all the way to earnings?

My advice if it runs up into earnings, sell half, then study the earnings report and go from there.

thanks for the advice. I'm hoping for a catalyst to push the price up. At least is it not building a solid base around the $12 mark it's the first time the stock has traded level for so long - which I guess it a good thing as shareholders are now seeing the longer term gain and the frail quick buck guys have all sold.

  • This company is not well known outside of the diehard fitness folks. The things they are now doing finally will bring it some attention. I think it will run up into earnings, but who knows what will happen after that depending on what we hear.

    Earnings report

    by haigs159 Jul 17, 2014 2:50 PM

I'm very much looking forward to Q2, I know it won't be a blowout like Q1 but hoping to another turning of profit. Maybe even some updates on the SEC and up-listing. On the Dec 2013 call Brad said he was hoping for Aug 2014 to have new of the up-listing.

    Earnings report

    by haigs159 Jul 17, 2014 2:50 PM

Probably early August, Aug 11th or 12th is my guess, perhaps earlier like the 4-6th, but I would think since its Q2, the later dates.
If news is bad, then Friday Aug 8th (but I expected a Monday - Wednesday release)

    MSLP PUMPERS ARRESTED

    by osprey.watch3 Jul 11, 2014 5:24 PM

Im not sure what point you are trying to get across... MPS was using the MSLP name, but wasnt associated with the company anymore. Their agreement has been terminated, and NOW they changed their name so they are no longer to be associated with MSLP.

    MSLP PUMPERS ARRESTED

    by osprey.watch3 Jul 11, 2014 5:24 PM

They still ride around in MSLP trucks, nothing changed. Remember this:
MusclePharm Corporation (the “Company”) has sent to MusclePharm Sportswear LLC (“MPS”) a Notice of Intent to Terminate pursuant to the MusclePharm Sportswear License Agreement (“Agreement”) dated June 2011, due to a material breach by MPS, thereby initiating a 30-day cure period (the “Cure Period”) during which time MPS may cure the material breach of the Agreement. If MPS fails, refuses or is unable for any reason to cure such breach during the Cure Period, the Company may terminate the Agreement upon three (3) days written notice to MPS. Accordingly, if MPS fails to cure such breach during the Cure period, and the Company terminates the Agreement, the Company shall no longer have any affiliation with MPS and its principle owner, Drew Ciccarelli. The Company will demand that, within thirty (30) days from the date of termination of the Agreement, MPS dissolve its company and stop using the name “MusclePharm” and/or “MusclePharm Sportswear LLC” in any manner or any fashion.

MusclePharm Sportswear changed its name to WorldWide Apparel.

  • per my article quote my friend, it's already a huge money maker and if MSLP follows suit with their own brand or better yet a TIGER brand, it's not if, but how much that product will make for them. sure can't hurt to try it!

  • New Musclepharm Coconut Protein Drink in Costco this year!
Quote: (Brad Pyatt quote from 4/14) condensed
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
we're going to do a coconut protein water. That's going to be launching, we're hoping some time in Q4 with Costco. And that was a collaboration with Costco and us trying to figure out a way to attack the ready-to-drink business within their portfolio. So we feel pretty confident about what is going to happen this year

Why coconut water is now a $1 billion industry (condensed yahoo story)
America’s coconut water craze has officially gone global. What’s the inside scoop behind this booming industry?
From the beaches of Rio to the street vendors of Bangkok, cracking open a coconut and sipping it with a straw has long been a popular, low-cost refreshment in tropical countries. Then in 2004, a handful of entrepreneurs introduced coconut water as a packaged drink to the US and, ignited by fitness fanatics and superstars, triggered a thirst quenching trend.

    MSLP PUMPERS ARRESTED

    by osprey.watch3 Jul 11, 2014 5:24 PM

There are a lot of smart people inside of MSLP running operations. Pyatt has learned a lot over the last year or 2, and I think now he actually has some business sense. When he started MSLP he thought it was just a fun idea and I GUARANTEE he didn't think they would grow into this size of a company. He made those mistakes, giving stock away for nothing.
AFTER THE SPLIT you had to realize that Brad then understood the business and the shareholders... since he is a major holder.
If there were felons inside of MSLP they would be out and arrested by now. Perhaps Brad and Corey will be arrested, and MSLP will be in able hands... since they ARENT the brains of the operation.

    by osprey.watch3 Jul 11, 2014 5:24 PM

Its been a year + since the SEC starting looking into MSLP and Pyatt and Gregory were 'felons' they would know this already and we would have heard about it ALONG TIME AGO.
I understand the past of MSLP and the people that they associated with - I understand their checkered past as a penny stock, and changing things around take time. These gentlemen that you are listing are no longer assocated with MSLP and if they still were, THEN I would be a little worried, BUT, they are and have been out of the picture for ALONG TIME
