SIGA Technologies Inc. Message Board

  • The planned parenthood event today highlights why it would be extremely questionable for the US government to let the stockpile expire. In my opinion, of course.

  • Apologies if my response seemed rude, that was not the intent. Don't view my issue with Drod as my normal interaction. My response, said differently, is 1) I don't know the answer, but this is an excellent question and 2) this is what we should be discussing on this board. One speculative opinion that I am borrow from a previous discussion is that it would be irresponsible to let them expire, and that they are waiting until the legal issue is resolved before placing more orders. I assumed this was the plan, but you bring up a valid point on 1) why would Siga supplement a stockpile set to expire and 2) when will we know if the product will expire or be extended? I don't know

  • Drod-. You need to get better at reading and comprehension. I don't care what you are doing, be it buying, selling, short, or long. I care that 1) you are misinforming people on this board (see your comment :. Insiders haven't purchased shares in past 18 months) and 2) you are turning this discussion board into your own soap opera. News flash..... You are not the only one who lost money with Siga. Many people are trying to figure out how to view Siga in the future. I get you don't like Siga, but don't let that dislike impact other people trying to research. You are inserting bad data into their research. I don't care why, just stop.

Regarding your over the top, days of our lives, drama filled responses. I am not going to react anymore. I don't know you, I don't care to know you. I have no plans, at current time, to report you. You are simply a bitter person who cannot articulate your points well and seem to struggle with basic conversation. I was just warning you that if in fact your are posting these inaccurate facts to gain financially, it is a crime. I just assume your low intelligence levels are the reason for these nonsensical posts, nothing nefarious, but I could be wrong. Simply put, stop interrupting while the adults are speaking. We are trying to discuss stocks without adding noise into our research and analysis.

  • Yep they're going to investigate a guy who got screwed by bad management and now speaks poorly of their 70 cent a share company. That's what they're going to do. I'm shorting a company at 70 cents instead of one at 70 dollars. Do you realize how ridiculous you sound in between your desperate attempt at trying to sound intelligent. It's really embarrassing. Go ahead and contact them. See what happens genius. are you this laughable in real life all the time??

  • The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) Office of Investor Education and Advocacy (“OIEA”) is issuing this Investor Alert to warn investors about fraudsters who may attempt to manipulate share prices by using social media to spread false or misleading information about stocks.

Social media and the Internet in general have become important tools for investors. Investors may use social media to research particular stocks, look up background information on a broker-dealer or investment adviser, find guidance on investing strategies, receive up-to-date news, and discuss the markets with others.

While social media can provide many benefits for investors, it also presents opportunities for fraudsters. Through social media, fraudsters can spread false or misleading information about a stock to large numbers of people with minimum effort and at a relatively low cost. They can also conceal their true identities by acting anonymously or even impersonating credible sources of market information.

One way fraudsters may exploit social media is to engage in a market manipulation, such as spreading false and misleading information about a company to affect the stock’s share price. Wrongdoers may perpetuate stock rumors on social media, as well as on online bulletin boards and in Internet chat rooms.

The false or misleading rumors may be positive or negative. For example, in a “pump-and-dump” scheme, promoters “pump” up the stock price by spreading positive rumors that incite a buying frenzy and they quickly “dump” their own shares before the hype ends. Typically, after the promoters profit from their sales, the stock price drops and the remaining investors lose money. In other instances, fraudsters start negative rumors urging investors to sell their shares so that the stock price plummets and the fraudsters take advantage of buying shares at the artificially low price. • I don't care if you are shorting a stock, buying, or selling. It makes no difference to me. Just provide data that is accurate and I will wish you the best of luck. But when you present false data to people, I will correct you every time. Thanks for finally admitting you had the 2.95 price target. Now go admit it on the PIP board and I will be through with you. Regarding the feds, only you know that answer. I have no idea what trades you have made. To be clear, call your attorney and ask, if I am trashing a stock on the discussion boards through lies and misinformation, and I hold a short position on that stock, am I guilty of a crime. The answer is yes.

  • LOL. Man you are killing me! Now the Feds are going to be after me! Scary. You're a regular Columbo did you know that?!? What to dig up stuff and put the pieces together! I'm shorting a 70 cent stock....BUSTED!!

YOU ARE A TOTAL MORON!! LOL. That was ME saying the price was going DOWN! Not a price target of it going UP! I was talking about how it was overpriced. WOW, just wow. What a fool you are....

  • You sir/ma'am, are asking the right question

  • Pls explain a paradox. SIGA delivered 1.3 mln courses of TPOXX to BARDA in 2013-2014. Now SIGA is going to "supplement previously delivered courses of TPOXX, at no additional cost to BARDA, with additional dosages so that all of the courses previously delivered to BARDA will be at the new provisional dosage". And we know that previously delivered courses currently have 38 month expiry. So a big chunk of already previously delivered courses will expire already in 2016. So why BARDA may ask to to supplement courses that already expired or will expire pretty soon? Does it mean BARDA is sure that expiry will be extended to 84 months very soon? What happens if there will be no expiry extention in 2016? Would BARDA just accept that Strategic Stockpile becomes empty?

Looks like you were shorting SIGA.......

  • I don't sound like a total fool, buy rather a concerned shareholder who doesn't want people to read your nonsense and take it as the truth. If you say you don't care about a stupid anonymous message board, then why do you continue to lie about you $2.95 projection. It is absurd. It is right in front of you. Just say you forgot or that you made a mistake, and move on. Stop passing off speculation as fact. You just said that insiders haven't bought in the last 12-18 months, but the CEO did. Your are bitter and fabricating stories to either 1) manipulated the market, which is illegal, or 2) try to get people to join you in your pity party. I don't know if people are after you, but if you shorted the stock, like your post said you did, then you posted inaccurate negative things about Siga, I would say yes someone is after you. That is illegal. It is just a matter of priority for the justice department. The more these posts surface, the more it is on their radar. I don't know your trading habits, but if you invest in a stock in any form, then provide misinformation that benefits your position, you have committed a serious crime.

  • Hey genius, do your research before posting more lies. CEO purchased 50k June 15 2015. That is under a year ago. Again, they are not going to pick up 200000 shares the day before a spike.

Surfacing this post-Looks like the $2.90 target price you stated.

  • LOL. You really wanted to be an attorney or detective as a kid didn't you?!?! Cover my tracks?!? Seriously? You sound like a total fool. Cover my tracks for what? Am I in trouble with the law? Is someone after me? Listen here dipstick, I have never deleted any posts and certainly wouldn't waste time searching and doing so over a stupid anonymous message board. Think about how stupid you just sounded. Just stop and think about it for a second.

  • Excuse the typos. Hesitant, not headstand. They, not the. Perhaps more...it is early

  • You may be speaking the truth on this thread, but you lied about you previous statements, then you went back and deleted them to cover your tracks. Admit your mistake, and move on. You are right that a Siga management has been terrible and guilty of insider trading. I am sure you could help people better understand the risks and rewards with Siga. Unfortunately, you have lost credibility with your lies. On an anonymous board, integrity matters. People don't expect perfection with projections. They expect honesty. Remedy this immediately.

Let me propose alternative to your theory. The reason why insiders aren't buying is they do not want to draw attention to their trading. Insider trading is not just the avoidance of financial loss. It is trading on non public information. Given their blatant insider trading to avoid loss when the stock was $15ish, they are likely headstand to buy stock at $1 before any deal is announced. Imagine the headline if the did....Siga investors lose 50% of their investment but management makes 3000% return. That might draw some regulatory attention.
