There’s the question of just how much more oomph is left in J&J? Fourteen analysts who were polled estimate company revenues will eke out a meager 1% percent gain in revenues in 2015, although earnings are forecast to climb a somewhat more respectable 3.5%t. The stock is valued at 17 times expected 2015 earnings, just about in line with Dow and non-tech S&P 500 stocks. That begs the question: where is the impetus for any share price boost going to come from?
Itdobanion is correct in that many of the added burdens of Obamacare are almost as invisible to most people as Jonathan Gruber's hidden taxes are in the AFA's premiums. The result has been that the "true" cost of Obamacare has Soared WAAYY past what the CBO said it would be back when it was first scored (as 6 years of benefits paid for by 10 years of taxes... remember THAT?).
For example: Obama's expansion of Medicaid as part of ACA included a 1 year subsidy for doctors that would treat those Medicaid recipients, in the states that went along with the Medicaid expansion. The idea was to compensate those doctors at the same rate as they are compensated for Medicare patients.
The rub, was that it would only do so for ONE YEAR, then States would be on their own with doctor compensation, and states would be inclined to CONTINUE paying doctors at medicare rates, so as not to end up with a lot of Doctors REFUSING the new Medicaid enrollees... and thus RAISE TAXES to cover that.
Such things like such an aforementioned State Tax Increase were Never Factored into the true cost of Obamacare, just like many other, "hidden" provisions that had to be paid for, but which the CBO never considered.
My point? Obamacare is a FISCAL MONSTROSITY, with huge costs and horrible incentives, that leaves the country much worse off than it was before...
... and the Employer Mandate, and all of IT'S machinations hasn't even kicked in yet... I just don't have the time in this post to review all the Time Bombs intertwined in THAT aspect of this horrible law.
Have you heard the one about the "Obamacare Burrito"? You have to "pass" it to know what's IN it.
Most people do not have a clue as to what is and going to happen under OC. Your costs are going up in many many ways. Premiums are going up, deductibles and co-pays are going up, some procedures and treatments are no longer covered and Doctors are leaving their practice or are becoming concierge doctors. I have two that I know who will no longer treat Medicare patients and now charge $1800.00 a year just to stay a patient. Office visits are still billed to your insurance company. For a family of 2 that's $3600.a year or $300 month just to have the right to see the doctor. Add $500 per month per person for insurance and you get the picture. Oh, and wait till you see how much Rx's are going to.

Johnson & Johnson reported lower-than-expected quarterly sales as a stronger dollar offset higher sales of the Band-Aid maker's new drugs and older treatments.

Democrats stand for one issue! Criminals rights to roam free rap ing , molesting , kil ling and ter rorizing all innocent civilians. Set My People Free. In simple terms , release all vile animals from jail while supporting Hussein's desire to create a racial divide in America where none previously existed.
You make me sick , You liberal coward and now it will cost me 30% more to see my doctor.
I am curious how much more value a quarterly dosing provide over the already quite convenient monthly dosing. But then I am not a schizophrenic patient. Appreciate info from anyone with knowlege of this market.
Great news for all my patients......!!!
Janssen Research & Development, LLC (Janssen) announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted Priority Review for the New Drug Application (NDA) for three-month atypical antipsychotic paliperidone palmitate to treat schizophrenia in adults. If approved, it will be the first and only long-acting atypical antipsychotic that has a dosing schedule of just four times a year.
Priority Review is a designation for a drug that treats a serious condition and, if approved, would provide significant improvement in safety or effectiveness. A priority review designation means FDA's goal is to take action on the marketing application within six months of receipt as compared to 10 months under standard review.
"If approved, this three-month formulation adds an unprecedented treatment option to help address the needs of people living with schizophrenia by providing a new, less frequently dosed treatment choice," said Husseini K. Manji, M.D., Global Head, Neuroscience Therapeutic Area, Janssen Research & Development, LLC. "New treatments give patients, and caregivers, a broader range of options to address their needs as early as possible in their recovery journeys."
Schizophrenia is a complex and chronic brain disorder that can be severe and disabling. It affects approximately 2.4 million U.S. adults, often beginning in the late teens or early 20s. If left untreated, schizophrenia can greatly interfere with education, employment and interpersonal functioning.

JNJ is down not because of drugs sales as touted by the downgrade but by foreign exchange conversions. Take a look at JNJ presswire, drug sales are UP 9.6% for the quarter even with a strong dollar.
JNJ is down but a strong dollar for a multinational company is part of the game.
The lead counsel in this case for J&J has been caught before using fraudulent witnesses. J&J may have an obscene amount of money and have more arrogance than sense, but they are still not above the law. IMO.
I have a close friend that has OC here in CA. He is paying a bit more but is getting better coverage. As like all things it can be improved upon. His biggest gripe is his limitations to his previous doctors that refuse to accept OC. Again some changes need to be implemented but at least its a start. What I would like to see is our newly voted in Congress suggest changes that are aimed to improve OC.
When I talk about how ObamaCare Tripled my health insurance premium, you might ask: Why do I compare my CURRENT premium to what I was paying back in 2009 for the Same Coverage?
The reason is because 2009 was the last year that was un-affected by Obamacare. Obamacare's first provisions took affect in 2010, and started impacting insurance rates then.
To understand Just How Badly Obamacare is Hammering your Middle Class Aazss, then just evaluate it this way:
Take your premium from 2009, and add 5% to it for each of the 5 years leading up to 2014 to account for naturally occurring health care inflation... on a "compounded" basis.
Then, compare the result with what Obamacare policies are being quoted at, using the Same deductables, and the same Co-pays that you had in 2009.
The difference, is the "Hidden Tax" that you are paying Obamacare... the tax that Jonathan Gruber was saying that voters are "too stupid" to understand. Bottom Line, your policy would be about 40 to 50% LESS, without the imbedded, Obamacare tax on you... adjusted for health care inflation. The "tripling" of my OWN policy did not adjust for inflation, but that goes to the fact that nothing has happened to CURB health care inflation.
Of course, your implicit, Obamacare "tax", is going toward provide free, or heavily subsidized insurance for Obama's main supporters, who are mostly the 47% of Americans who pay no federal income tax...
... or the 5 million illegal aliens that Obama just granted amnesty to.
