$40 ? CVRR is barely holding onto $30 and that is with a strong overall stock market. What happens to CVRR when this stock market takes a down day breather ? Why hasn't the yield story been effectively broadcast ?

So it is selling itself at a discount. But yet people keep buying the mothership at a premium. Makes sense. Really its not even people buying it. Just liquiidty hitting the stronger chart formation current present in CVI. No real people are sitting back and saying to themselves, i think I will buy CVI today instead of buying CVRR or UAN. Good lesson on how the market works based on techincals and liquidity in the short term.

On the latest form 4, he disposed of 12mm shares a @ $29 and then bought 2mm at 30.75 and exercised a call for 1.8mm shares at $29.... Why would you sell 12mm and then buy 2 mm back at a higher price?

I guess its just an old wall street trick to make people think they are getting a good deal and to pay above what the underwriters true cost was. Very criminal. Makes it all the more crazy that CVI is going up yet again. It has shot above sum of parts value here.

Why does the CVRR announcement of the closing of the 12 million share offering declare that it was at a price of $30.75 when the CVI 8K declares that the price was $29.825? Where's the SEC when we need them?

thanks for the reply, was just watching CNBC and Kramer mentioned CVRR is a good light, not that I had doubts to be honest I expect this stock to be a lot higher soon, people will go for that divy, its just to good right now for people not to be jumping in.

There are some interesting points brought up in earlier posts concerning your thoughts, check those out. I picked up cvi in the high 49's an sold in the high 50's low 60's, big mistake. I also have uan and cvrr in increasing amounts. GL

Hello, I was wondering what you all think about which one to buy right now? I recently sold my COP after a nice run (had the psx spin-off as well), I was looking to put some money to work with one of these two companies (I already own some UAN and CVRR). Right now I am leaning twords CVRR due to current price.

thats why the underwriters merrily selling under 30.75. The SEC should crack down on this fall advertising. And let retail more easily know the real terms.
