"News Flash....You're at Yahoo and they are not going to help you with your Verizon problem."
Are you totally illiterate? Did I not just post I didn't expect help here? Did I not just advise you that I already tried what you suggested was a solution to no avail?
Verizon cannot retain customers by ignoring viable competition offers.
Sure you did, Hairy. Sure you did.
We all believe everything you say.
No go take your OCD meds so the little voices in your head will stop.

News Flash....You're at Yahoo and they are not going to help you with your Verizon problem.
"Considering that you think some how a stock blog might be customer support.... "
How you got that from my post is not clear, I wrote to VZ via snail mail. It seem obvious their deletion of an email contact is to lighten their load of complaints.
" I would suggest that you go into a wireless store ..."
I went to a newly opened location close to my home. The first agent said it should be possible but another came over to register an objection that "no, it wasn't allowed".
I then went to another wireless location where I originally entered into the contract and where there used to be one of the more helpful representatives in the business. Unfortunately he was either no longer there or just not working. That agent said I had to change numbers, which I guessed meant earning him a fee. So yes I went to two wireless stores and they were or pretended to be powerless to help.
No I didn't expect help here. I have been a customer for many years, and yes I have been generally happy, no I don't want and will not continue to pay VZ an extra $100 a month out of loyalty, yes I have taken the 20th century alternate route and written to customer service through snail mail.
Question: since what I posted is 100% factual, why are you so hostile? Do you hate the reality that VZ may not always be customer friendly? They certainly were not able ort willing to help me on Saturday.
Clueless! Your intellect reflects in your childish comments. I'm sorry to hear that your sex life is just as poor.
I do understand that all you made in the last 2 years with this dead stock are .50 dividends!!!!! Wah, wah, wah!!!! Please quit cheating on your right hand with the left.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
no one needs to talk this clunker down! don't spend that whopping .53 dividend all in one place!!!
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Considering that you think some how a stock blog might be customer support.... you likely called the wrong carrier for your bill. I would suggest that you go into a wireless store and get your issue resolved rather than vent like a child on a stock blog. Just about every company with a $200+ billion market cap has customer service issues. Verizon has been ranked by companies that analyze their customer service regularly and they have a different perspective than you. So do $150 million customers that get serviced with a high degree of professionalism.
shocker...they STILL haven't figured out the "service" part of "customer service". they treat every subsequent call (even if it's about the same issue) like it's the first time you've called. more like "customer frustration".
you are a clown, keep talking it down clown, $48 is the new $46. Bottom is in, back to $51 it goes this month. Keep shorting you nickel and diming fool.
Today I have had the pleasure of speaking with 7 Verizon representatives, including a supervisor and find they agree they cannot change my bill without changing phone numbers, or at least exposing to numbers to loss.
If i want to switch to AT&T they can guarantee I retain the numbers I now have by porting them over and keeping them active 100% of the time. Verizon insists they have to terminate a plan, possibly (probably) lose numbers then reactivate.
the problem is I have phones under contract, which I am willing to buy out at their price, but they claim when I do the contract terminates and by the time they install the new plan my numbers will likely be gone.
Now if we step back and think about it, nothing needs to be actually done to any device, it is an accounting change but they all swear there is no vehicle to get there within Verizon, so they lose a customer...incredible. Well Lilly is cute kid anyway, I guess VZ doesn't need the business.
The last kicker is that to communicate in writing now REQUIRES USPS snail mail, they don't have an email contact. I told the last rep that Verizon would be a good name for a technology company.
I am buying VZ here at the close at 48.60 at my own risk. I am thinking there may be a little bounce on Monday. They have been buying VZ here while a lot of other stocks I am watching have moved down in the last hour. GLTA The candlestick also looks like it could move up Monday.
That's why I sold my 2000 shares at 50 and made 4 bucks a share. The dividend was the icing on the cake.
Hedge fund managers with their millions of shares of VZ have turned this stock into a channeling stock.
Will get back in when it falls below 46 again.
If you look at the one year chart of VZ it continues down for some time before it stops. It appears that they have only begun the journey now. The DOW moves up this much in one day and VZ is in the red could be an indicator that they are not interested in changing direction. I have been hearing many say buy VZ but have seen few doing it.
They do not call this manipulation. The FED has provided all this liquidity so the GS, JPM, MS, could have better control of their finances. They can better control the market and be assured of making a hundred million a day.
