Might take a bit to fill this gap but it is going to fill with out some big buyers coming in. Should have gone short about 10 cents ago but oh well.
I am very thankful that this upgrade came when it did. Got out of town with the last of my call options with a tiny profit. For those who like to see their stock trend up, gaps are bad. This is stabilzing near the 50DMA but a gap fill is looking probable at the second. Gaps suck for investors.
Obama, George Bush, Queen Elizabeth, and Vladimir Putin Joke.
George Bush, Queen Elizabeth, and Vladimir Putin all die and go to hell. While there, they spot a red phone and ask what the phone is for.
The devil tells them it is for calling back to Earth.
Putin asks to call Russia and talks for 5 minutes. When he is finished the devil informs him that the cost is a million dollars, so Putin writes him a check.
Next Queen Elizabeth calls England and talks for 30 minutes. When she is finished the devil informs her that the cost is 6 million dollars, so she writes him a check.
Finally George Bush gets his turn and talks for 4 hours. When he is finished the devil informs him that the call is free.
When Putin hears this he goes ballistic and asks the devil why Bush got to call the USA so cheaply.
The devil smiles and replies, "Since Obama took over, the country has gone to hell, so it's a local call."
what it means is that even in the face of the massive debt incurred for the VOD deal , that VZ is not resting ,
in fact it's more like they are on a tear , buying companies and forging partnerships .. this is one extremely
strong company ... mgmt did indicate that having full ownership of VZW would open new opportunities , that
for whatever reason , they would not undertake as long as VOD held 45% of the juggernaut ....
Have no noticed that there is no longer any talk about T vs VZ ???? remember when T was the first to
buckle under and hook up with Apple ??? They were supposed to bury VZ ... LOL ... garce
A dilution of shares BUT since the transaction is accretive there will NOT be a decrease in overall value.
Does the current shareholder voting to issue billions of new shares to acquire Vodafone, etc., mean an upcoming stock split in 2014, or does it mean the simple dilution of shares?
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Vz to sell broadband. Vz to buy Intel TV services . Sprint to buy T-Mobile. All this news broke late today; what does this mean for our company , VZ ? Plus or minus ? All civil thoughts welcome.
Xerox isn't the only IT solution provider for Healthcare, Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) is also cashing in on healthcare act by advising hospitals, doctors, patients, and government agencies on implementing the law. Last month the U.S. government appointed HP as the provider of data services for the Obamacare website, which was previously allotted to Verizon Communications (VZ). This is because Verizon's data hub center crashed several times over the past months as the insurance enrollment program launched. However, government officials said the contract with HP was signed in July this year and has nothing to do with data service failure. The data center hub is an integral part of the government site as it facilitates the exchange of information between government, state run exchanges, federal agencies, and insurers. In 2011, HHS gave a $55.4 million contract to Verizon, but later gave a $38 million contract to HP.
