You are right on the mark Mr. softee; the negative lies are getting old. Big john F will smoke soon, count on it!!

Why is taking a profit stupid when I'm feeling uncomfortable with the news in the last 48 hours? I spend very little time on messages boards these days. I wanted to post something other than the cheerleaders or short type posts which is why I spend so little time on message boards.
They have $1.5 billion in cash, a back log of $20 billion and banks clamoring to lend them money. Add a 10% dividend and the youngest, most advanced fleet and SDRL is a winner. Most that post about it have not done five minute's actual research.
You never posted once any interest in the stock before, yet you feel compelled to tell people you sold. And for a stupid reason.
What gives with these hacks (Motley Fool Morons) 6 months ago they did not even know there was a company called "Seadrill". Not until the Bear attack from Barclay's, Barron's and company did they jump on this negative stream of news articles. Sounds like a "Snake in the grass" to me; anybody else notice this ganging up of hacks?? That's ok, Big John Fredriksen will burn at the stake, and then feed them to the rats.
Long and strong Good luck to all Seadrill longs!!
Sentiment: Strong Buy
No, I'm not short. I sold for a nice profit after picking up a lot of shares between 34-35 along with receiving one very nice dividend. Just feeling uncomfortable with all that's happened in the last 48 hours. When the dust settles and if I still feel good about Seadrill, I can always buy back in. Time will tell. Good luck to all.
Feel sure you noticed the numbers from the cancelled deal and the refi announced last night, since both resulted in $350 million of extra operating cash. The new loan was at Libor + 2, so all the yapping on here about to much debt (the banks do not seem worried) and dividend cuts IMO is just as you posted, noise.
I did appreciate the cheap shares shorty sold me the other day. I hope they save up a little coin for the next dividend, as I suspect they will be shelling out about $1.03 per share.
Bet they are new shorts that jumped in when SDRL made there offer. They are trapped. Hang on cause they will have to cover.
