Expect thousands of investors unable to trade = NOT GOOD...SYSTEM DOWN & UNAVAILABLE FOR pre-market trades and market open! Unacceptable... amazing how they can rationalize these system flaws and breakdowns for ALL customers.
Got rid of my old service and now thanks to Ultimate Stock Alerts (do a Google search for them), I am up 600%
and Schwab's share-price suffers. All those Funds, all those fees that Schwab cannot collect due to low interest rates. Remember the good-old-days, when the Schwab Value Advantage Fund actually had VALUE to it? Ahhhh, the memories of Yield!
Nice returns offered on the Yield table and then you look underneath and there's some AA rated Puerto Rican debt that explains that nice yield. At least Schwab isn't letting the online Rubes buy-in without a nice talking-to from a bond trader. There's a little telephone where the trade button should be. That's a smart move Chuck, talk to them before they walk down the path to Puerto Rican oblivion.
As a real Schwab client, I personally think the response is appropriate to your email.
-You didn't tell him which mobile app.
-You didn't tell him why you are having a problem with the mobile ap.
-You didn't describe the issue.
-You didn't discuss why the mobile app is important to you and what you need it to do.
-You didn't discuss what steps you took or who you talked with.
-You didn't ask for a work-around.
-You didn't sign with your account number so they could identify you as a client.
In my experience, Schwab has an excellent web site and a more than functional mobile app.
As noted, their response was most likely right on.
CEO response to High Valued Brokerage Client
Walt Bettinger's response to me after bringing to to his attention that Schwab's mobile app release is an unmitigated disaster:
Me: Walt, You could learn something here. Your recent mobile update is an unmitigated disaster! Your IT department has failed to acknowledge the problem and has not issued any type of fix plan for your clients. You need to look at getting on with the fix! Schwab mobile has become a joke. I moved my $3.0 million account to e*trade last week as I no longer have trust in Schwab after 27 years.
Walt's Response: Mr. XXXXXX,
Thank you for the wisdom and counsel you have offered me with respect to mobile technology and personnel moves. I’m certain your maturity, expertise and experience warrant my attention.
Best wishes with E*Trade.
Interesting client focus.
Where is the old Schwab where feedback was appreciated good or bad? Chuck may need to reconsider his choice. I did...after 27 years. Guess I should have buttered the turd....
Why did I even touch SCHW? If it wasn’t for the guys at Ultimate Stock Alerts (find them in Google search) I would have lost more money
I am avoiding SCHW, it’s been tanking for too long. I am now playing alerts from Ultimate Stock Alerts (find them in Google search)
Your trading account won’t be the same now that you’ve found Ultimate Stock Alerts (find them in Google)
