The CMLS story is an old story. The company is circling the drain and insiders raise their pay and pick off choice assets. If the debt is only worth 42 cents on the dollar why would the equity be worth anything? Now we know why insiders have not purchased any stock. They are only there now to enrich themselves.
KQRS, home of the leading morning show ratings in the US has announced the departure of Terri Traen from the show. The Tom and Terri show is no longer. The listeners will surely respond and revenues will surely fall. Their partnership spanned over two decades. Terri, unfortunately has accepted a diminutive position on the station in the afternoons with Brian Zepp, who was already on his way out. Station manager Scott Jameson made a gigantic mistake allowing this to happen. Terri should have been offered her own show and been allowed to pick her own cast members. it would have complimented the station greatly. Let's all watch the slow spiral down. So sad.

Covering KLOS and KABC, which could be huge brands. I like the approach -- radio is in decline in large part because of self-inflicted wounds; this is an attempt to turn that situation around.
