Eddie may still finish on top...but the common shareholders will not have anything to show for it.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Eddie is just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. In a few years, we'll all be reading about Sears (and Kmart's) last Christmas. SHLD is shrinking so fast that the day-to-day operations are becoming incredibly expensive on a per dollar of revenue basis. It costs almost as much to advertise for 1700 stores as it does for 3000. Now that SHLD is paying rent on group of newly leveraged stores, the cash burn will only accelerate. Eddie's day of reckoning is approaching. ☻☻☻
This is the only way for Eddie to make gains before the BK- trading the stock, not running the Co. better and profitibly.
Eddie always finishes on top some how, some way. Rank has its privileges. ☻☻☻
The reputation of a house brand rises and falls largely with the status of the parent company. Even people who grew up with Kenmore appliances know that it is a Sears brand and that torpedoes everything. Sears is best at nothing now. You go to a Sears store and you'll get a hard-sell for a Sears credit card, an extended warranty plan, and a Shop-Your-Way membership. Isn't arm twisting of shoppers largely to blame for Radio Shack's demise??? A sales consultant should be more of an ally than an adversary. ☻☻☻
Seriously.Does a stockholder think stock manipulation by the Chairman works out well in the end. he probably closed out some puts at the close.
SHLD brick and mortar stores are failing fast, shabby SHLD stores and service is tarnishing the Sears' name for any internet endeavor, and Amazon is holding tight to its commanding lead in e-commerce sales. It'll all play out much like the slow but sudden end of the Woolworth chain. ☻☻☻
Sears and Kmart prices are so high, nobody in their right mind would want to pay for them with a legit credit card! ☻☻☻
manipulation , just like today
people who sold in 2007 and 2008 did very well
thank you Eddie (hehehe)
but there is a sucker born every day
