thanks for the tenderdate info. I'm in the pharma-healthcare consulting industry and SFE is well positioned for what is going on in the market. Hospitals are looking for new cost effective technology and devices to reduce costs. SFE's portfolio is hot. I hope they don't sell of their assets too soon.
Keep in mind SFE still hasn't announced the PATH deal. They had ~6 million shares so they'll collect about $16 million plus receiving another $18 million down the road if the drug is successfu. They probably won't announce until the tender date(Jan 22). That should bumb it up another 20-30 cents, or more. The $18 million(+/-) will be their profit.
Thingswork was well played. I'm looking forward to the next transaction. the $$ will be put to good use by this team for the next startup. I'm loading up since it broke the $20 mark.
Sorry for your loss, nine. I don't know your financial condition, but you could have done as I did...I started buying in $3.30 only to see it drop down to $0.70(after I averaged down several times). I then bought 10k more shares at $0.'80 against my wife's voting absolutely NO! After the 1-6 rs my average was $6.87. I sold some at $ $15, $17 and $18. I've done well but I still think they screwed shareholders for years giving away stock galore to the board every single year. I don't think they should go around beating their chests, but I'm sure they'll be laughing all the way to the bank.
Have a happy new year.
Can't believe SFE allowed that to happen. They could have bought company at ~$6and financed the start of sales and later sold for $10-15 in less than a year.
