This is my favorite. May 19th he said we are headed to 9 and within a month shot to 18+. Can you make a worse market call than that? I don't think you could get it this wrong if you tried.
I notice he only uses this ID for OMER. His short is WAY underwater at this point. He may be that phonymd in disguise. There can't be 2 people that bad at investing on one board.
LOL --- tiny is back!! You knew the coward would come out of hiding. Only up 70% since his last post now! This guy is the poster child for the term LOSER.
Yeah, we will own this stock come a few days after this insane run up. Speaking of stocks, the only one's I feel 101% comfortable with continued upswing and support would be DEPO and TITXF. Any of you insane longs into these?
scubamoe, I expect to see continued price increases because I generally agree with the logic (if not the price targets) of analysts like WBB and Wedbush that have price targets WAY north of where OMER is today.
Omidria is approved and their pipeline is fascinating. It'll be interesting to see what's happening with the huge short position that was still about 6 million shares mid-June. 2.5 million shares traded in three days early last week while the stock went from $14.50 to $17.50. That could have been substantial short covering but it'd still leave a big short position.
From an article on the yahoo finance page titled "The Path to FDA Approval Could Launch Seven Biotech Stocks Much Higher". While OMER is not one of the 7 stocks, this fact was interesting.
In a new report the analysts at Cowen point out a very interesting item. Their work shows that, on average, stocks gained 84% in the 12 months prior to approval and lost 24% in the 12 months after the FDA approval. They also pointed out the companies are rarely acquired a year before or after approval. That is a data point that may surprise many investors.
Of course these are just averages and every stock reacts differently and have different circumstances. OMER stock gain in the 12 months prior to FDA approval was around 120% and over 50% since approval.
You seem in on BIO companies and I've seen your posts on other boards for years it seems. What should we expect to see next? Still too unpredictable?
dooper, yes you are correct, i noticed that after i posted. Peter has way LESS shares as his brother - so to me that is even a better sign.
Peter (not Gregory) Demopulos, a BoD member, bought those shares. Still a good sign.
No doubt - the CEO has options on over 2Million shares at an average exercise price of well under $5, so for him to plunk down $100K in cash when the share price is over $16 is meaningful. I'm guessing he sees the recent $60 target as feasible. There is a lot more to the OMER story than just Omidria - the value of the pipeline will play out well before the revenue from Omidria catches anyone's attention.
100k worth about 6,500 shares. Bought a few days ago. He did not need to do this, already has alot of shares, Nye must be confident in what's coming down the road, imo
LOL -- according to your post you short somewhere around $12. Probably not the right person to talk about stupid, you think?
You are living on Fantasy Island!
This will never make it above $20
Use common sense and short this and EXAS.
Stupid is, stupid does
