After they raise capital I would expect to see the start of dog trials.
Greetings, I've been reading this forum for a while. It is time I contribute.
I am a Preventive Medicine Physician, and often administer vaccinations.
As you are aware, there are different types of vaccines. Live vaccines, although effective, have the potential to cause the illness they're trying to prevent. For this reason, physicians are trained not to give them to specific groups, including pregnant women, infants under 6 months, and immunocompromised patients. Additionally, although it is okay to give two live vaccines at the same time, you cannot give a second live vaccination within 30 days of administration of a live vaccine.
Live vaccines include; Influenza intranasal spray (not injection), Varicella, Herpes Zoster, MMR (Measles, Mumps Rubella), Yellow Fever, and a certain type of Polio Vaccine.
Synthetic DNA vaccines have zero ability to cause active infection. It is possible that patients may experience general symptoms that may mimic infection, via release of a chemical called TNF.

Post of the day! LOL
The trial he participated in to regain brain tissue lost to head injury. Success of the trial was based on increasing base level IQ's from a maximum start level of 65 to a level where trial participants are able to function in society, 85 or so. He had no measurable benefit from the treatment. The trial failed.
What clinical trial failure are you referring to?
I was actually on the conference call for the phase III trial results of Celsion (CLSN) when everyone thought it was a slam dunk. I was stunned. I has some PTSD from that call that occasionally makes me compare INO with CLSN. I know they are in fact, quite different, CLSN was a one trick pony, INO is not. Its that fact that lets me sleep at night, I feel like even one of the drugs in the pipeline were to fail (and probably at least one will) I'm still not putting all my eggs in one basket.

Could it also be a matter of "flying under the radar" of the big fund managers? The big dogs are often restricted in what they can invest in (cap size/ $/share etc). A micro/mini/small cap bio stock with no EPS might not be seen as that great of investment, or even get through the screener. May times, they would rather loose money on an established company or brand that is known than to speculate.
Excellent post msand....good analogy too!
He brought up the subject 5 days ago also. He is a pot stirrer.
So you have been slowly increasing your holdings and educating yourself on DNA vaccines and INO, but you liken this to a 1 in a million longshot and bring up recent clinical trial failures. Doesn't sound like you educated yourself at all.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I purchased Inovio several years ago after reading a newsletter [which one I have no idea] since then I have slowly been increasing my holdings along with my education into the workings of DNA vaccines, electroprtation, Syncon and Inovio's huge " seemingly to good to be true" potential. My portfolio has always include a dreamer high flyer one in 1 million Penny stock like this. Anyway, my point is that in 20 years not one of these dreams of grandeur has worked out. Considering the recent clinical trial failure, what is going to make this one any different?
I like to compare it to buying a new home. You are looking for a new construction home and there is a development that caught your eye. You can get a sweet deal, but the only problem is that it is just empty land now and when your house is done you don't know how many neighbors you will have. You are willing to take the risk because you feel between the price and location, they will sell. On the other hand, there may be a buyer who would rather wait a year to see how many houses were built even if it meant paying a premium.
I agree with you 100% basherbuster. Once we get into the $.80 to $1.00 range, we will start to see a lot more interest. Some may be waiting for the HIV results and will have no problem paying a premium. If you really believe in the technology and management and believe it will be a $20 stock in 5 years, it's not going to matter if you paid $.60 or $1.20.

Bingo, when you hear all these people make statements blaming Inovio's management for the share price, they have no clue how stock price movements occur. Management doesn't get on the phone and tell investors how much to buy. The chart shows where major buying and selling occured, where the major support/resistance levels are and what is occuring. Any yes, there are many people who wait to see other people buy to move the share price up before jumping in. That is the way it works and Inovio's price behavior is looking very healthy. Once we close above $.83, volume will in all likelyhood increase and the price will breakout. It won't take a whole lot of time to get to $1.00. People will wonder why are people so willing to buy here but wouldn't buy at $.60? Don't know what to say about that, it is just human nature.
They put a poison pill in place to prevent a takover down at these prices. It just makes it very difficult for a company to purchase Inovio in the event the board and controling insiders do not want to sell.
John, yes you did, and as you know, we being on the outside are the last to know and usually stings the most..It's that uncertainty coupled with the price that's etched in stone gives me a twitch.I think everyone is waiting for everyone else to "pull the trigger"I'm starting to see some strength building.a breath of fresh air..good luck..
As you newbies may not know,a lot of folks got spooked In Feb and sold, me and a fewmore like martha and bioparma were smart, we bought the cheap shares ofat .54 along with the shrewd big money investors. Takje this as a lesson, instead of getting scared and selling on an offering, double down on bargain prices. We are up 15% in little over 3 months, andthe fun is just now beginning glta
Sentiment: Strong Buy
