SNI has purchased the remaining stake in the Polish broadcast network that a majority stake was purchased this spring. With this out of the way, perhaps the stock price will begin to head north. This stock is undervalued.
After reading SNI's transcript of the earnings, and Standard and Poors latest report, I believe SNI trading at below 60 is irrational, based on the prospects and earnings projections for SNI. The stock is now a buy.
After todays beat on earnings and revenues, Standard and Poors dropped 2016 earnings estimates by seven cents. Perhaps this is why the stock is down this afternoon, or it could be due to something heard on the conference call.
Good beat but market makers with little volume have just sucked the air out of this. That is a serious drop with a good earnings beating top and bottom line. This does look to be a treacherous time to be in the market. Market makers are moving stocks every which way to make a lot of money with the lack of volume in a lot of stocks. Be careful out there.
