Unless Sarissa and Aspire step up and buy the rest of the remaining shares we could be looking at the dollar menu for a year or more. The problem is simple supply and demand...outside of Aspires requirement, and Sarissa's interest, institutions are still not buying and probably never will given our corportae history and Pascoe's prior folly with Somaxon. Without the buyers, you have Forendo selling all of their 3.4 million shares in increments of what is allowed at 10% of the average volume for the past 5 days. The company also announced they still have $18.2 million allowance for shares to sell is approximately 13 million shares (current price) plus the 3.4 million for Forendo. What do you think will happen to the share price over the next year...it really does not matter what this clown board announces, the endless supply of shares will keep the price depressed for awhile. If they win the vote to increase shares you will probably see an even lower price as people just give up. JUST VOTE NO to protect your investment.
Please pass this information along to the manager over the fund that holds Apricus Biosciences (APRI).
I am a shareholder of Apricus Biosciences and have held 19,500 shares for almost 4 years. While my holdings are miniscule compared to your firms I can say that our experience so far is the same. We have experienced dilution, missed milestones, shifting strategy and left with more questions than answers. This has been the history of this company and it does not matter who holds the CEO position or is a member of the board. It has been much of the same over the past 4 years. I believe that Vitaros and RayVa along with other developmental drugs would be of great value to a larger pharmaceutical. However, the longer management delays, the more they dilute the less value remains for shareholders. Please join me and other shareholders by voting NO for the increase in shares, by voting NO to the management incentive plan and by voting NO for each board member including the CEO. It is time for our company to be sold to the highest bidder.
Thank you for your time,
Based on the agreement, it looks like they can sell approximately 34,500 shares per day unless someone steps up and makes an offer for the lot. It will take 98 days to clear them out..all for a drug that, in my opinion will not get any traction. This is another reason to fire Pascoe. VOTE NO!
For the rest of us longs, unless Sarissa voted yes to improve the company's ability to negotiate a sale I don't see this ending well for us. Maybe they (Sarissa) benefist from a Somaxon part II and take over V for pennies. Over the years, Apricus doubled the number of shares outstanding and blew all the money which brings us to today. All I/we have seen from them is higher salaries, bonuses, missed milestones, erroneous guidance (remember the OTC fiasco) pumped up pipeline that has the drug of the month put back on the shelves (Prevonco, Mycova, Femprox and whatever they were calling the insulin drug)...will RayVa be next? The SERM drug, we have experience with this company licensing other products and it's not good. What makes it worse is a small pharma trying to get a novel drug approved through the FDA. The FDA is hostile towards small drug companies with non ocology products...why? The bigger the pharma the larger the PDUFA fee, yes, the FDA charges by size of the company. Consolidation is good for them. The list is long, Depomed, Orexigene, Vivus, Mannkind. We will have to wait 3 years before we know how bad the FDA will shaft the company. I hope I am wrong but it is looking like I am going to lose on this investment like many have and many will. I am just shocked by the amount of positive votes. I would ask for an audit but why bother, if Sarissa did not vote for it then they will take them to task. I see dark days ahead.
Look board troll, I guess I can await your reply tomorrow when you clock in...I did not ask for your opinion and never have. You contribute nothing of substance to a conversation and just pump someone's name or a fund...you don't even know the market size, players, implications or medical concerns for any of the drugs under development by Apricus. Why don't you just ignore my posts or crawl back up DG's tuckus which is where he likes to have you or pull more info out of his behind.
They are all in on the plan to scam small investors, they playing the UP and DOWN game ant they loving it!

No way Sarissa and Aspire vote to increase shares. No way. They will vote NO, Pascoe will resign and they will sell the company.
Just crazy that folks will give away their shares here. This will be $3+ very soon.
Announcements of France launch, RayVa results, and Fispemifene into the clinic in the next 30 days.
Alex Denner was known for years as Carl Icahn's brain in biotech. His hedge fund Sarissa Capital now owns 17% of APRI with rights to a board seat and an option to yet buy more... They are APRI...
They purchased in the $1.80s
You can look thru stocks until you are blind and not find a better opportunity.
Alexander Denner knows more about biotech than all the research you could do.
I can hardly believe I'm thinking this,,,, But I think RayVa is going to be a big winner. Listen to the presentation. Pascoe says "I recently was having dinner with" A woman who heads a Raynaud's group.
Why would he be entertaining her if the trial was looking like a flop? He'd be avoiding that... He's in pre-marketing mode.
The buzz on Twitter has been impressive... As the UK, Germany, and Spain launched there was nothing on Twitter. But with France it's been steady updates for the past 24 hours. It certainly does appear that Marjorelle has a plan. If this is matched in sales effort directly to the Urologist community then I think good things will happen.
Also the other partners can take a page from Marjorelle and see how it's done... Very impressive.
What ever happened to the millions we were supposed to get from all the partners for the past 4 plus years
it was over 100 million i guess its was all monopoly money!?!?!?!?!?!
America is on the verge of energy independence, and is in fact a wash in excess oil and natural gas. Over the last 6 years Americans have purchased more energy efficient cars and employed new insulation appliances and HVAC systems adding to the equation. Remember cash for clunkers, or the rebates on new appliances?
Consumer debt is now at a multi decade low, and corporate profits have soared. Manufacturing that in the past would have gone oversees is staying in America all though it does seek non union areas like Alabama and SC.
The bull will keep running. The only risk is profits from overseas. Buy American. And don't stop
