you got that right - they put it back again the next day lol. Somebody has been flicking switches in the background and will.
So no Pogba yet - wonder if it will ever happen? Cracking debut friendly goal by Ibrahimovic, nice bicycle kick to open his account. Wish Portsmouth would sign somebody, even for a £1 lol
Well done on booking time away Moon - be great for you to have a break in the sun - been a while hasn't it? Toying with the idea of taking my brother with us to South Africa as he has been there before several times - well, Kruger National park specifically, he spent 3 weeks in there with friends camping and filming wildlife - his best mate is a cameraman for Channel TV over here, so he knows what to look for, and gives us another pair of eyes to spot stuff. Decided to book it all independently instead of Kuoni - much better for us to do things at our own pace. Trouble with those tours is - well, they took us to see Taj Mahal for one hour, but made us go to Agra fort for 4 hours and there was nothing there to see really - plus I get sick of spending two weeks with the same people and being told where to eat, and still get food poisoning lol
Chris Froome will hopefully win gold in Rio, so nobody will forget him lol - he should be a National hero now. Talking of which, did you see the adverts with Kris Akabusi as the Fairy GodMuller for those yoghurts? How the mighty have fallen - always liked his laugh though, then again, I liked Stewart Halls as a kid, so not a good barometer!
Really not much going on in the markets - AZN is doing the takeover rumours - one part of Brexit is that with the fall of the £, it is a lot cheaper for takeovers by US and European companies, even the Chinese can have a go if they think they're hard enough.
Did you watch any of the 50th anniversary celebrations of Englands World Cup win? Would have stirred some residual National pride in you lol!
Might be going to Benidorm on a jolly boys 50th do for 4 days next year - we'll see
Of course not. He marries a model and when she starts aging he cheats on her, dumps her and finds a younger one. He lacks any moral or ethics and the evangelicals just love him.
You think I would get away with that?!? lolol - it ain't happening Moon - though to be honest I haven't had any Olympics on, it is on at silly o'clock most of the time. Is Bradley even there?
Well done to Portsmouth not getting beat on the opening day of the season - that hasn't happened for a few years now. Did you enjoy beating Leicester yesterday? Ibrahimovic looks like he means business for you, and with Pogba seemingly increasingly likely to join now, the promise of a better season for you? I am quite happy to see a club outbid Real Madrid and Barcelona for once - they have got too used to having it all their own way for the last decade!
Yes, Charlemagne lol - glad you got it from my sketchy description - great song but I wasn't keen on the rest of the album. At least with downloading you can't get caught out like that anymore. We've all been there - New Radicals - You Only Get What You Give" - superb song, and bought the album only to find it was a bunch of bible bashing drivel.
It was like Winter here yesterday, cold, wet and foggy - so much so that my hoppo Robert was stranded in Gatwick and didn't get in until 16:00 today!. Extended his holiday I suppose, but not much kip to be had in there.
I have a memory of playing a home video game, one of the first ones out, with oblong tennis bats and a virtually square ball - must be pre-Atari days, but can you remember what it would have been called? It had football (1 goalkeeper, 1 striker each) squash and tennis, and was so basic, it never made it into an arcade. Loved it at the time though and led to a very-much maligned addiction for a couple of years. It was even before space-invaders. Bet it would be awful now, a bit like Star Trek the original series, a novelty for a bit, but soon looking very aged!
Well done on losing 4 Stone! that is phenomenal, and no, I can't imagine weighing 6 stone odd! My max is 11 stone, & I will be throwing up all I eat if I crept above that. It becomes easier after a while
Hi Moon - blues are here as well Moon, with you on that. Got my work cut out with Mrs Grim, you remember about the huge shire horse that she "adopted" ? Well she is really cut-up because he was found dead in his field the other day, sounds like a heart-attack. You know how dolphins help people with mental illness feel good, well this horse did the same for her, and she loved it when he hoofed it across the field to come and see her, the connection was that great, she could stand there holding him around the neck for ages, and she would almost fall asleep, such was the calming influence. he loved his pears, mints, and the odd hot cross bun, and now, she is in tears all the time and wants to visit his grave!. I haven't got the heart to tell her that he won't be in one.
Not much trading to be done in these conditions Moon, slightly up, slightly down, but basically sideways day in day out - All playing a waiting game for Yellen.
I will listen to that song when I am at home, I like a bit of French lol. Plastic Bertrand might be up your street, or Vanessa Paradis - great to look at, but "Joe Le Taxi" was awful!
My heart is not in this weightwatchers diet - I am eating salads and fruit salads, but washing them down with a lucozade, and having a packet of quavers in between meals is not helping to lose weight. At least it is healthier eating, though I am missing my pizza, even though I had one last Friday lol!.
I did not watch the womens hockey, I did not see any live Olympic actions, only the news bulletins once in a while. Great result, but felt nothing. Might as well have watched John Bishop lol. Try Sean Lock - "The Man With The Purple Van" tour on you tube. I saw that show live over here, and had tears of laughter rolling down my face
He, he, he. Boris isn't stupid. He knows what @*@* will have to be sorted out with brexit and he doesn't want to get involved in all that business. It's just amazing how we, the taxpayer, pay these shirkers all this money but they want to do as little as possible to get it. Too many people sitting around tables doing nothing but yapping about what should be done but never doing anything themselves.
Come on Poland.
