by gorbal_warmer •Feb 23, 2013 8:56 PMI've done the math. I figure that with my hybrid and driving habits I'm avoiding buying about 200 gallons of gas a year. Multiply by $4 and I'm saving $800 a year. I paid about $2500 more for the hybrid than an equivalent gas-only car so the extra gas mileage pays off in about 3 years. I've had it for 3 years this month, so from here on I've paid off the premium and am simply saving money.
You can continue shipping your $'s to the middle east if you like. I prefer not to. -

by robzuc15 •Feb 22, 2013 5:26 PMHighly disagree, I'm long GRPN but don't believe there will be any drastic change in price if GRPN meets or even beats the steet (unless it's substantial). I'm going to say a slight drive up to the mid 6's and that's about it. What it will do is continue a nice drive up over the spring and summer that could get it to that 7-8 range, again, if it meets or beats. I've got my finger on the covered call button this week though because if the price continues to fall before earnings, I have a really bad feeling.

tc will get caught up in the general bounceback of industrial and precious metals that is setting up for sometime in the next week or two-any neutral to positive news on tc will be stabilizing the recent decline and cost cutting to divert to mt milligan will show up in the earnings even in the face of weak moly prices as the timing to cut back on endako and moly overhead appears good. The mt milligan mine had good winter weather about average so progress Should be on track for the fourth quarter with even a possible upgrade with some early buyers coming in before the big expectations develop later in the spring and summer-bought more at these levels and feel confident about price stability-copper market a little weak but world demand picks up about the time the mine is ready to go so a hidden bonus could await the fall stockholders

The passengers, prior to the battery fiasco, according to crew all members, raved about the aircraft and it's comforts. Yes right now it's an albatross to the present operators who have lost revenue and Boeing. But in the long run I think it will be the Dreamliner everyone had hoped for. -
