by dinepat203 •Mar 19, 2013 12:27 AMI always thought it did not make sense to recall any drug because of 3 deaths all clustered within days in February when prior to that over 25000 patients had used it over 11 months time without a single death. Also, the way the word BK was thrown into today's statement when according to the company itself the investigation still continues and has not reached any results sounded totally irresponsible, shocking, and uncalled for. But now EVERYTHING makes sense. This was all a planned scheme to make money on shorting and then taking over the company on the cheap. They may not even do that right this moment and wait a long time until Affymax and Omontys is completely forgotten before they finally "agree" to buy it for pennies.
Glad to see all those lawsuits. I think JO may have not anticipated that many lawsuits and now is trying to scare away the attorney's by claiming they have no money and can even go BK. - Reply to

Isn't that what everyone wanted to hear which is after 3 weeks of investigation the company feels it is worth continuing the investigation at any cost rather than throwing in the towel?. Isn't today's PR concentrates on getting Takeda to pay e bigger share of the investigation. Isn't even the reason given for laying off 75% of the staff is to CONSERVE funds for continuing the investigation to a positive conclusion and returning the drug to the market??
Would the company go so far stressing the importance of continuing with the investigation and try so hard to push Takeda to put more money into it (by even threatening BK) if they thought Omontys was not good?
Folks wake up. Today's PR was actually positive in terms of the company having concluded that after 3 weeks of looking into the issues that the investigation must go on at any cost. That tells me that they think Omontys will, at the end of such investigation, return to market. -

they switched their business plan to a discount retailer plan and well... it didnt work. They've since got a new ceo and changed back but customer based is gone so now theyre hemorrhaging money. JCP will probably run out of money between Q4 and Q2 2015 at this pace and be completely out of business... unless something changes but IMO JCP will disappear within 2 years.
