Bob, it may be as simple as since Yahoo was going through your troubleshooting, they had you clear browser cache and you lost your login cookie. It may just be you have to login again. Also, if you are using the Safari browser, some of the features wont work. I have the Safari browser mysel, I dont use it....but I checked last evening and found I had the same problem you speak. If you use safari, you may have to download another browser like Chrome or Firefox to see all the Yahoo baseball features. Same limitations apply to the iOS/Android app as well....limited functionality.
Adio15, Gravitar has been a part of fantasy sports profiles for two years...at least I've been using that myself since 9/2013. Gravitar is a free service, similar to flickr, that allows manipulation of images...it costs nothing. The feature has been temporarily removed to address a security issue...and will be restored when the security issue has been resolved. Gravitar does not have those issues. I speculate (because internal IT infrastructure is NOT discussed with me) its because these functions....like the profile picture/image on team profile.....is tied to Flash, which has multiple security issues of its own. Yahoo has changed the draft client, and im told, is rolling out a flash-free stat tracker for baseball. So while you may feel these inconveniences are indications of desperation, they are in fact, pro-active acts of a company more concerned with your protection and security of information then they are with a image on a profile.
Actually, no, I don't want to add this element to the game I play. Are you going to limit batters to 7 games per position, or are you going to use the UTIL slots to add 1Bs, 3Bs and power hitting OFs?
I used to have to do maint on betting servers at Penn National, their location is....lets just say I could smell political debates from there.
I could "what if" this till the cows come home. What if its the all star break, what if a team gets 2 wins or 2 saves in a day. Limiting starts as you state it, reduces value for pitchers on losing teams...would i use starts by the Pirates or Phillies this week? The "gamble" is NOT having that limitation, adds another element of risk/reward in fantasy....do you risk transactions, do you get more starts from Thursday on because your opponent has a lead in WHIP and K's against you...Use the stats available to achieve those goals WITHOUT restrictions or use the restrictions as a last resort. DONT work the league, make the league work for you.....
You should slot Arenado between Machado and Bryant. Lead the NL in HR & RBI, hit more HR on the road and calls Coors home. Whats not to like?
lmao....are you kidding? I've been running leagues for 6-7 years running and never had trouble filling them. Only need a few guys in each league and we're good to go....I have 2 months to boot....guys are usually on a waiting list to play in my leagues. We are all adults, not some young kids who get an allowance. $200 comes down to $1.25 a day...bfd.....if you're looking for a dollar league, you might want to look elsewhere...lol
If you want consistency...Pence.
If you want slightly more RBI and fewer SB...Pence.
If you want slightly fewer RBI and more SB...Gomez.
