Caveat, I know nothing about these stocks except that they popped up on a new screen I finished programming that searches for the strongest longer chart patterns (1 to 6 month patterns). I'm working on a brand new system because I'm bored...
I ran it on the NBI, since the index is giving such a strong sell signal but there is a lot of chatter about certain biotechs out there.
Here's the list... do with it what you will... this is paper trading for me, as I investigate and backtest for more indicators that can hopefully pick the best of the best.
SGEN, PACB, MAXY, IDIX, GTXI, ASTX, THRX, OMPI, LMNX, ALKS, ENDP
Of them, SGEN appears to be the one I'd put money on from a pure technical perspective. It's about to reverse back up to form a cup.
Anyway, again... this is a preliminary screen for a new system and these are the stocks that pass the first entry criteria. I'm only watching, but if you have money in any, I'd expect some upward movement soon. -

What has materially changed for FCX between 2/15 & 2/22 ?
by harrydick836 •Feb 23, 2013 10:17 AMtake a quick look at the copper etf, JJC. The graph was simialr to FCX adn SCCO. If copper ticks back up on hgiher consumption news from China, US housing, etc, all of these will go up. FCX has the added variable of the acquisition. I am hoping that mgmt knows what they are doing with this acquisition and it will be eps accretive in 2013

In all fairness...we have heard this story before..as a matter of fact from you several years ago when the menthol issue with LO vs. FDA first developed. Nothing has changed, the stock is up dramatically split 3x1, dividend raised & buy -back programs are in full swing..Yes always some concerns, but LO was a raging buy on Friday...stock will bounce back as we approach x-dividend.Sentiment: Buy
