It looks good. You hit on a lot of my target guys. SB's are going to be a problem. Cruz for a Betts or Marte would be a big help. Even a guy like Cain.
I am really hoping Darvish comes back strong
I love my 1-2-3 punch with him
I need some bench at bats with brantley hurt right now (pillar and span both get a good amount of steals and trumbo might get 30 homers)
Well...I assume you mean TYLER White.
Tyler White is a minor league career .311 hitter in 294 minor league games. In those games he has walked more than he struck out (174 to 164) so he has amazing plate discipline to go with his plus power. He won't steal you any bases so he won't generate more fantasy value than Goldschmidt or Votto...but he should generate similar value to Trumbo though he will probably have fewer HR than Trumbo but he should also have a greater batting average. With consistent playing time I would venture to say that he would also garner more runs and RBIs than Trumbo.
That being said...I would prefer White over Trumbo too. I mean...I would at least consider having White on a fantasy baseball roster. I can't say the same thing for Trumbo.
Looks as if you're punting BA, going for all power and Hamilton as your speed. It's a good idea, in theory. But Hamilton being so streaky, you might find that you struggle in the SBs cat. He can put up 10 in a week and then go without another.... I'd try to figure out how to get Dozier. Maybe straight up for Kinsler? Take out BA, and Dozier has been the #1 2B the past 2 seasons.
12 Team H2H Keeper League
We keep 8 players at no cost. Email stevosupremo1089 at this site for more info.
Here is the roster:
Hard to imagine Harper or Bryant having a down year unless it's injury based. Pollock IMO is most likely of those 3 to under perform.
White might hold onto the job... or AJ Reed might supplant him by June.
FYI...nobody really cares if a trade is "even" and nobody really cares if you "win" a trade. All that matters is did you improve your team and/or generate surplus value for your team.
The correct way to title your thread to get a faster response is "Which side do you prefer?" or "Team A or Team B?".
P.S. - Someone will reply and answer your question (and call me an unkind name) now that I have responded to your thread.
I think I'll try to move Trea Turner for an SP... be it a backend one, like Joe Ross. I drafted 1 too many NA guys, so if I can turn that into a SP I'll feel more comfortable.
One of the other teams in my league accidently drafted 4 2bs and that left me with Daniel Murphy. He needs SP so i was going to offer to him to swap our 7th round picks (keeper, 10 team, 5x5 league). That would be lester for Odor. Would you consider that trade and would you make it? I'm thinking I can get decent pitching from the waiver wire right?
5 team league??? Are you freakin serious?? Good luck finding a replacement. What a boring league that must be. You must be a real control freak.
10 team H2H 4 player keeper My keepers are Kershaw, Correa, Goldschmidt and McCutchen
Scoring cats are
Wanted thoughts on my strategy… I have the 3rd and 11th pick
Top players available (yahoo ranks) are Betts, Gordon, Votto, Sale, Marte, Bumgarner
My top 3 are Betts, Sale, Marte
Plan A: Take Sale 3rd and Sano 11th – having Sale and Kershaw really anchors my rotation and lets me wait even longer for sp
Plan B: Take Betts 3rd and Archer 11th
I know the usually philosophy is bats over arms, but high K pitchers make a huge difference in our league. And as an FYI, SB are irrelevant to me…easy to punt that one category and still win.
My targets at the draft go on are
C - mesaroco
2b – Odor or DJ LeMahieu
3b – Franco (if I don’t get Sano at 11)
OF – Pence, Parra, Peralta, Yelich
