I know, and still the Police force release stuff saying "yes, but...." and magazine for ex-police retirees praised them saying that despite Hillsborough, they did a good job and should be proud" - not the brightest thing to say!
Prince, Victoria Wood added to our list since the last post - and the BBC confirmed our suspicions Moon, there ARE more celebrities popping off then ever before - so far 2016 has seen as many obituaries as 2014 & 15 put together, however, it is not all that strange in a way, as all these folks came to the for several decades ago, and a few years back, only Hollywood actors, politicians nad top military brass were really known by the masses, whereas now, we are saturated with famous people from all walks of life, who are now entering their 60's, 70's and 80's, so I guess we have to get used to more of it happening.
Were you wanting Man Utd to lose today? lolol - didn't happen, but I heard a few Utd supporters wishing Leicester would win it at Old Trafford, particularly with Schmeichel in goal. What a fairy story though, in decades to come, people will look back on the history of Football, with Dele Ali in the studio in his '70's saying, yes it really did happen!
Loving the 3D movies Moon, a whole new perspective on some old favourites, but be careful if you invest in a 4k player, both me and my brother got caught out. They were titled "4k and upscaling" but that meant they didn't play Ultra HD blurays which are genuinely 4 times the definition of blurays. I was lucky that when my first disc came down, I was within the 28 days consumer rights period, and could get my player swapped, especially as I bought locally through the JEC. My brother used Amazon and he is now stuck with his. But boy the difference is utterly amazing - watched Exodus and it was like I could touch them such was the clarity, deeper darks, more colourful colours, wow! Bit limited on choice at the mo, but got The Revenant on order from USA as all discs are region-free

I watched a lot of it, but are you pleased you might be getting Mourinho instead of Van Gaal? Not sure he is Man Utd type of manager. Rashford gives hope for the England Euro's cause, but not sure about this Rooney midfield love-in - he plays a lot of sideways balls and reminded me of Ray Wilkins in that position, who was nicknamed "the crab" as a result of playing like that. at least you have a cup in the cupboard!. Chris Smalling - Englands main defender at the Euro's? Hope taken away again lol.
Watched Transendence French bluray today as it is the only 3d version - happy that you can choose English audio and no subtitles - took a risk ordering that from French Amazon, but worked out beautifully!
Chucking it down here today - no summer yet or anytime soon - must get away again!
Definitely no grass in our garden - it was all gravelled over before we arrived and a major selling point lol. Wouldn't mind that fake grass as it looks very realistic now, but can't be bothered spending the amount needed to cover our area, more expensive than I realised. No mowing, no bugs, no pollen - win, win, win lolol.
Have a listen to "Cake By The Ocean" by DNCE Moon - let me know what you think ;-) - best new song I'd heard in a while, much better than ABC starting up again, kept hearing the Zimmerframe creaking in the background!

I couldn't watch the rugby Moon, I was dying my #$%$ off, went out for our FD's leaving do, and got smashed so much, I had to go back to bed yesterday pm - though glad I missed the Wales loss lol. Well done to you guys, it is the result that counts and you might just get that elusive Grand Slam now.
I did see the X-files, very tongue in cheek, but wondering if they are going to make an x-files 2 with those Mulder and Scully look and sound-a-likes. They only made 6 episodes, as that is the only way Ms Anderson could be persuaded to do it again, due to how much time away from her kids a whole 24 episode series would take. Better a mini-series than none at all I guess, and better than the luke-warm film offerings as well.
Got a new lodger moving into the East Wing today, been prepping up documents and sprucing it up ver the last week - a single 55 year old Edinburgh lady with no car!!! - yippee - no late night car moving fun - best of all worlds for me.
That was decent rise on Friday for the FTSE - no idea why, just went along for the ride. Really glad I plunged in for RDSB shares, 15 odd seems a steal - oil price won't remain this low forever, and now they have BG's earnings coming in, the divi's should keeping rolling up in the interim. Waiting with baited breath for LGEN results on Tuesday as doubled up on that holding when the FTSE was flirting with 5600 last month. after seeing Aviva's results, I have high hopes!
A relief than Man Utd are not playing this weekend? They were awful against Liverpool in Europa League, which is odd considering it is your most likely route to Champions League football next year? I know City slipped up against Norwich dropping two points, but they are still 4 points ahead of you, plus west ham are between you and looking good themselves. Interesting to see the Scouse hero Benitez pitching up at the Newcastle poisoned chalice - suppose he can't lose there, if they are relegated it was expected, but if he keeps them up, a hero again!

Bought TRXC at $2 , first target 72$ in couple of years. I am a cardiologist . My surgical colleagues can not wait to get it approved.

  • which means, those co's outfitting new homes are going to take a headline hit. I guess ebay sits right in there, since you don't sell the stuff you used to own to buy new stuff unless you got a place to put it.

There's an unfair conclusion, it works just the opposite. Oh well, time for bargain hunting.

Wayne Jewett, The fundamentals for NVIV have never been better. If the biotech market was stronger and the PPS was $10 you would be singing his praises. You're one dimensional. You only understand the PPS without understanding the Macro market and the basic fundamentals of the NSS progress.

The markets have been marvelous. Not a short in sight for me. Glad to see that you've made some money out of all the panic. We're overbought now but I'm still not going to short because there's too much money flying around and they're talking about the ECB chucking even more into the ring. You can see some of them on the iii board right in the doo dah and they're just hoping and praying this goes down to previous lows. Should have been buying at the lows, not selling.

Looks like Jax is doing well for himself. House in the suburbs and a flat on the harbour. Can't be bad. No wonder all those ladies are after him. They'll lighten his wallet a bit. lol

Looks like we're in for some snow up here tonight. It's been cold and frosty evry night for the last couple of weeks. My heating bills are going through the roof. Mind you, I have the heating on for my seedlings so that doesn't help the bills. lol Still, I'll have a lovely crop of bedding plants and veg this year. All grown by me.

Those longs came in handy. lol

I was livid with England today. To be so much in control and then nearly throw it away at the end was just amateurish. I was just thinking how improved England wre under this new manager and then they just fell apart.

If you haven't seen the X files yet....a must see. So funny.
