I understand UHG is paying a 27% premium over Friday's closing price. However, many analysts had CTRX share price at $55-60 in the short term this year on their own. Seems to me like UHG received a favorable price. I wonder if Mark Theirer did not see the sales growth coming this year to make up for the loss of two clients (Wellcare, etc.).
what about staying ON TOPIC?
Charles, now you're rolling out your feminine ID's
That ID crashed long ago!
"i can't help but think that starboard's buy-in may strictly have been for the purpose of getting yhoo to buy back their (starboard's) shares."
Very astute of you. :-)
Yahoo can just buy Starboard out of their shares.
"Windsock" couldn't be a better nickname for EJ.
Before Amgen made it's massive 40,000% run,,, the stock was trading at a high of $9.50 and slowly dropped to $4.00... it hovered for a while until it formed the hockey stick of a lifetime.
Those that sold on fear from 9.50 to $4.00 lost out on millions!! KM has gone through this BS and i'm sure he's not worried one bit about the stock price.. He knows whats coming and he must be shaking his head saying a lot of investors are going to miss out on one of the biggest opportunities of a lifetime.
For those that work for publicly traded companies,,, you know what i mean when i say,, CEO's who know whats coming isn't worried about short term trading. I'm sure the only distraction he has right now are investors emailing,,,,"what's going on"???? Answer for you guys,,,, he can't say squat!!! He will tell you what is public... Leave the man and company alone.
If you don't like volatility go invest in J&J....
What specific argument are you referring to, Airhead ? And, are you George's homosexual sperm bank? I mean....you obviously love him.
Gimme a break. Management has never sounded confident or prepared. Stammering, long pauses and "uhm". Say what you will about the technology, which I STILL think is a breakthrough, but the stewardship of ETRM seems to be old people and their Gal Fridays.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Be nice, koko.
