... and former Mayor of Los Angeles just joined the HLF board too.
It's over for Ackman - just a matter of time.
joe , you and the other shysters who arrived with you a very short time ago for sure have formed highly qualified opinions about long term investors here.
I am honored to be on your list
Right in the heart of Silicon Valley.
In the wonderful socialist state of California.
i4c, I loved your original post. I have commented here that pumping does not help a stock, not generally, and some here who feel compelled to do so (in part to offset the malicious bashers here) need to stop the daily pumping grind.
I will note I got into NVAX first back in 2010 (I think) at about $4.50 and sold in the mid-5's, in and out since, had a max of about 150K shares. This company is going to make it, and I have always said so though I've been unwilling to hold the shares like rare earth when other opportunities arose. I'd thought this year would be the ramp up year for NVAX, due to RSV, and if it is not this year, it will be next year. Assuming the market holds, NVAX will be in the $7 range in the next 12 months, and I may or not be here to see it; right now I've about 50K shares.
I do wish all the old longs well. In this and in life. As for the bashers, some of the old ones here clearly know that NVAX is a winner, they just play the other side and swing trade -- except for the dumb untrainables.
Toad, this is scary news. After his JCPenny and Herbalife catastrophes I'm thinking Ackman is the carrier of ill news.
He bought 200K shares on 05/17 and the EPS estimate has dropped to about 25% of what was projected that time ... yet price has dropped only about 50% ...
It looks like ANV is worth about $2.5 based on he paying $1.75 for the company projecting 4x more in EPS ...
Any what the 97K he got for free on 05/31 would be still in the money ... even if the price gets corrected to below $2/share ...
You shortsellers always have a new excuse.
Heavy volume is everything! All resistance has been cleared out.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Wow, that's nuts. They keep selling 100 shares all day. It's due time for the pendulum to swing the other direction. I wouldn't be surprised if there is covering before Tuesday because even they know that one hint of good news from the conference and they are toast.
