Why? Where does your number come from? What is your estimate of growth etc that makes EBIX almost 40% more valuable than the share price today?
Can anyone help me how to sue GS becasue of their impact on share price. I lost investment in MNKD because of their view on MNKD value of 3 USD pps. Is there any way how SEC can be involved and investigate their assesment or to forbid GS to publicly influence on prices of stocks?
I believe they have enough cash for pIII. That is why they raised the amount they did weeks ago. And why underwriters exercised their option as they did. They know. Siringe doesn't think so money wise. Time will tell where this goes. I find it funny they would do a significant offering, get underwriter purchases, only to offer again months later. I see siringe does have a strong buy yahoo rating on this stock so that says something lol. I'm no fool. Personally I don't think underwriters would invest millions on dollars as they did if they new AKBA would need another offering for pIII. Does that make sense? They know otherwise that option would have been rejected immediately. The numbers were worked out ahead of time and they know the data results due in Aug. I'll take a look at FGEN as I don't much about it right now but I know AKDA is best of class. Even if they capture minimum 20% (conservative) of the 5-10B market that's billions in revenues for a stock with a market cap of 230M. That is an appealing ratio that offers a nice return imo.
A Southwest Airlines passenger was surprised when her taxiing plane turned around and headed back to the gate, and flight attendants told her to exit the plane and immediately call home.
not as simple as 'just covering'. Ackman's position is so large that he will have to negotiate, or go 'cap in hand' to institutions and beg for them to sell him stock, at a somewhat reasonable price. In an event like that, an institution can call their price or downright refuse, knowing that ackman is in big trouble. He is hated on Wall St and this is a golden opportunity for those who hate him to see him squirm. HE IS CORNERED, NO DOUBT. Hlf will see 170/200 before this is over.
This moass that Icahn talked about 2 years ago is slow coming but it could happen literally overnight.
In my opinion, Icahn etc and the Institutional holders have some sort of unwritten understanding (technically illegal but probably impossible to prove. All Icahn would have to have said to an institution is 'I'm not selling below 150, know what I mean') not to sell to ackman under a certain price (maybe around $150). None of these institutions or Icahn want any of the longs to capitulate too soon and scupper a decent squeeze.
I hope ftc clearance doesn't come before next results, because if they are good the stock will be trading at 70.

Furthermore, higher penetration by the likes of Southwest Airlines and Spirit Airlines coupled with the expiry of the Wright Amendment Act will boost market share for such low-cost carriers.

"Our NetWise solution continues to prove superior to competitive products in achieving this goal. In fact, we have recently completed a trial with a leading mobile network operator, demonstrating our unique capabilities to dynamically adjust connectivity behavior in real-time to maintain a vast connected experience when Wi-Fi access points become congested or fail."
"We are in the final stages of the sales cycle with this operator"
That was on April 28th so this deal should be closed or very close to closure.
And just to highlight the key words " dynamically adjust connectivity behavior in real-time to maintain a vast connected experience". Precisely what Project Fi is all about. And SMSI is the incumbent supplier to Sprint - one of the networks used by Project Fi.
The U.S. economy was growing at a moderate pace in most regions of the country in April and May, as consumers ramped up spending at retailers and auto dealers, the Federal Reserve said Wednesday.
Here's losing it, meat: bashing this company 24/7 for nine years on this board.
Your repeated refusal to address your post below proves once and for all that you're nothing more than a drunken fraud and loser. Not that anyone needed any further proof, mind you.
Wash that harsh realty down with some more rotguy, BriBri Smith.

I can also guarantee that virtually ever single poster is about to be identified, then you all will be finally able to figure out who I am, as well as many others. I am certain that the field will be narrow, but interesting, as will the email connections. Shall soon see who has ties to the Company, and who is an alias." ~ ga.rscrappa • Jan 27, 2015 2:33 AM
I checked your math and got 2038 for a fixed replacement rate, but that's close enough.
There is a potential that this will accelerate though. Jerry Brown has talked of fighting climate change as a 'war effort' comparable to WW-II, where pretty much the entire industrial capacity of the country was mobilized to fight the war.
If we got serious about it, we could do this in 10 years. Maybe less.
We will never completely replace coal power and gasoline of course. (People do still ride horses, after all) But we can still fundamentally transform the way we generate and use power.
I've been right about this donkey-loser since it was $20. My next prediction is that it breaks $6.67 by friday. LOL Dream it.
Rmsacc, with respect, may I assume that you're joking? You can buy right now as many shares as you most probably would want for under .40 ( and on the day after the offering, you could have bought millions at .34-.36); and, if you want to wait until ( or if) the stock gets up to .45 to buy more, that's your current option -- but, again, you can buy, buy, buy now BEFORE it gets to .45, not to mention .52. So, are you serious: you really wrote IR complaining that you weren't allowed to buy shares at .40 the day before it was at .34-.36??
During a Quiet Period, a publicly listed company cannot make any announcements about anything that could cause a normal investor to change their position on the company's stock. Normally, that means the company does not discuss any of the following:
New deals or wins signed in that current quarter. Announcements about previously sold implementations going live are allowed but must be explicitly described as such.
Progress against company goals
Major product or service announcements
Major partnership announcement
