"...No one really needs ADAS.", "A car that can keep you in your lane, warn you of vehicles in your blind spot or brake itself in the event of an impending collision may be very cool, but a good driver will never have to use any of these features because he/she will not put himself/herself in that position. It may be hard to get consumers to pay up $500-1500 while also admitting that they are bad drivers." (RW-Business Insider)
NO ONE WANTS THIS... THAT is the flaw.
I think it's an awesome/lifesaving technology....as long as everyone has one.... except me! A common sentiment I am learning. To me it would be a distraction, a new gadget to keep my eyes OFF the road. Government(s) will possibly require this type of tech in several years (at least for a while) 3-5 years at best and only in current year production cars. I am afraid mass studies will show this "alert system" will be a distraction, a reason to not pay attention. The Tech is not new, decades old....they just keep trying to get us to accept it...time and time again.
Until cars are totally autonomous, a horrifying topic on its own, these things are just flash.
He's not interested in hearing other opinions on stock movement, especially from me. Simply put, when there is a gap in trading, or a "space" created from a jump or drop, MM's move the stock down to the highest or lowest point, respectively, to fill the gap that was created. Every stock does it in regular trading.
Similar experience here. Took profits several times. Bought last at $9.80 to play the PH2 data release. During the presentation the morning of the release I heard Kim say PH3- 2016. It was 5 minutes before mkt open and I put a sell at open order in and got out at $13.45. Nice run for a few days. My attitude toward these small biotechs is that there is a lot of volatility in the pps and that means trading opportunity. I can't understand how someone can own shares at $15.80/share and still have those same shares at $10.44. Certainly a great deal of potential and worth watching but better buying opportunity coming up. Remember $150 million shelf. I have several "hold" stocks in my portfolio and they all have one thing in common....they pay dividends. Never fall in love with a stock.
R x R...I agree that Tivonomo post with the part about "did not do a presentation" is correct, but I agree with all else in that post from Inv. Village Unxl(freakin' AMPE) board. You are correct to point out that there were many great companies presenting at the same time areas as it was a short show with many presenters. I agree Ballard Power would be a tough act to compete with as all are hyping fuel cells(I like PLUG better).
Now let's take a peek at Ballard's PPS after the show....it went way down. Also, they did not PR anything post-show, as many are complaining that PixieLand should have done. like I had said a week before the shown ' tell...it will take time for the toooots to do DD, get a kitchen pass to buy or sell, with an opportunity to do a head fake to get a lower PPS entry, and/or gather and do big buys with any hit PR once confident.
Now, not to take away from talking about Nov. of LAST YEAR pissant training videos... the 4th quarter is not over yet.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Looks like high time to sell LOCO ... Restaurant business with 15% growth and P/E over 72 (39/.54 = 72.22) ...
Because the big boys are buying right now, and do not want the clients to know yet. This a a juicy peach dangling from a very low branch
