I'm not seeing any info out there suggesting an expectation of an imminent update on Z944. All I've seen is that it's going to continue down the trial process in Q3 but that doesn't necessarily imply a checkpoint of info is going to be provided "any time now". Do you have info suggesting otherwise? Don't get me wrong... It would be nice to get good news but I am not counting on any info based on how things have been suggested so far in the press.
Thank God he worked out. We made him work twice as hard and we knocked him down as much as we could. Didn't phase him. I was wrong about him. My wife told me I need to go with her to church to feed the homeless, and get out of the house. I am in a rut here, and I need help getting out of it. Good posters like Lord and Obamas_Nation have set me to thinking what a putz I have been.
I will say, Karl credibility backfired to the point where everyone that I know ( and are spreading the word about his recent backfired tactics with MicroVision) will also spread the word about what he did on Seeking Alpha. The more he talks about MVIS he is put himself so deep in the whole. First article he did on SA, the stock tanked only to watch him put a 2nd article about MicroVision after the bell. The stock tanked $.07 after hours and after we received a email from MicroVision IR about Karl's (from his sources) connection about the Sept PR and the April PR, bragging that the Fortune 100 is in his opinion from his reliable sources the same as the Tier One Supplier. Karl's creditability has been hit hard and the stock roses $.14 less than 24 hours later. How many writers have you seen have to correct "statements" after a article was released. I think IMO, MicroVision is on Karl's radar more now than ever and I would not be surprised IMO if MicroVision takes legal action at one point when the time is just right. His worst mistakes is correcting damaging information on his articles about a publicly traded company to a blog site that has a effect on the trading of publicly traded companies with each article they write. By correcting a mistake after the fact is one thing, by doing it against a publicly traded company is another. SA,IMO I would be very careful going forward

Your 500 contract limit was wrong. It is more like 500,000 contracts total. See details below:
Current Position Limits:
Position and exercise limits for individual equity and index options are constantly revised according to market conditions.
Exchange rules allow investors to position 250,000 options on either side of the market. For example, an investor wants to hedge a large portfolio with options: He buys 200,000 long (XYZ) calls and sells 50,000 (XYZ) puts on one side of the market. He also buys 210,000 long (XYZ) puts and sells 40,000 (XYZ) calls. In both scenarios, the investor owns 250,000 contracts. Exchange rules allow the investor to position a total of 500,000 contracts.
Current Exercise Limits:
Exercise limit amounts of options contracts are usually identical to position limit amounts.
Rules about the maximum exercise limits are subject to change for each option name.
Rulemakers' Change Reports:
Rules concerning the maximum number of options an investor can buy or sell in any option may change. According to market conditions or special circumstances relating to the company, the Options Clearing Corporation issues a change report.
Owning more than 200 options contracts requires a report of ownership to regulatory authorities. Relatively smaller options positions in an account require the broker-dealer to report ownership. Owning above 200 options contracts on one or both sides of the market requires reportage, according to Exchange Rule 4.13.

Global mobile phone market to grow 7.3% in 2013 driven by 1 billion smartphone shipments, says IDC
Press release; Steve Shen, DIGITIMES [Thursday 5 September 2013]
The worldwide mobile phone market is forecast to grow 7.3% year over year in 2013, marking a sharp rebound from the nearly flat (1.2%) growth experienced in 2012. Strong demand for smartphones across all geographies will drive much of this growth as worldwide smartphone shipments are expected to surpass 1 billion units for the first time in a single year, according to IDC.
The overall mobile phone market is growing faster than previously forecast thanks to a stronger-than-expected first half of the year driven by strong gains in emerging markets and the sub-US$200 smartphone segment. IDC previously projected 5.8% growth for the year. Vendors are now forecast to ship more than 1.8 billion mobile phones this year, growing to over 2.3 billion mobile phones in 2017.
Worldwide smartphone shipments are forecast to grow 40% year over year to more than one billion units this year. High smartphone growth is the result of a variety of factors, including steep device subsidies from carriers, especially in mature economic markets, as well as a growing array of sub-US$200 smartphones. Total smartphone shipments are forecast to reach 1.7 billion units in 2017.

For people with head/neck/face pain, will the act of chewing the gum aggravate their conditions?
[P] It will probably have the opposite effect. Chewing motion is an exercise, so people who have some pain within the head and neck—if it’s related to occlusal problems…meaning chewing problems—it’s not related directly to chewing, but to bruxing—which is squeezing their teeth at night when it’s beyond their conscious control. If anything, by chewing the gum you will offload these areas of pressure—such as the temporomandibular joint (TMJ)—and you will exercise the muscles of facial expression, which are involved in these syndromes. Again, the act of chewing, if anything…that’s rehab. That’s an exercise, and it should improve things—not make them worse.
This is what they have. Not very deep. Not very well thought out. Somewhere between Billy Bob hey pass me another brewsky to hey Billy Bob lets go shoot up sum mail boxes or signs. These posters are mental midgets living a hand to mouth existence and have no problem bashing as its probably a step up from where they were they have earned income from before.
In Thursday's conference call there was mention of a government group looking for DU metal. As I understand it, DU metal requires converting from DUF4. International Isotopes knows how to do that. If they get the contract for that, then the Hobbs Facility likely will start construction directly going to the proposed Phase II capacity. There was mention of that also in the conference call. The announcement in "a couple of months" of a new medical product sounds interesting too.

Gee... it's fun to watch your boy Obama and other bloodthirsty "moral imperative" "nation-building" warmongers getting slaughtered... by the world!
Having a good day Mesa!??
We have added 2+ trillion this year so far but the budget deficit is only 700 billion so where did 1.3 trillion go if it wasnt a budget short fall?
I guess they must have a different math than what I grew up with!
You're ok fiats123....we all can point to some regret at this point, but should be happy if we are in under $2. I'm averaged in at $1.42 and only wish I had more. However, ALU was 27% of my portfolio and didn't want to run it up higher. Now, ALU has run it up for me and it's 52% of my portfolio now. Yikes. What a ride! Hang on!
Thank you, your post is much appreciated. I read the IHub Board all the time but am always searching the net for info about investments. Ariad is one of my larger holdings. Most of the time there is nothing of any value on the Yahoo Board but this was a pleasant surprise. I wish I had more of value to add here but I am long Ariad and a true believer that this company will become very successful.
GSK didn't hand over $9 million expecting success on all fronts....GSK knows the business and all of our platforms and the failures that come with it....MOSTLY ALL....if anything hit's with a higher efficacy....game on.....who knows GSK might rewrite a contract and give us or loan us some more money....who knows....all Greek to me....
Right, I think the FDA will reject Affrezza again. No insiders were buying at $2 (except Al converting debt to shares). That told me a lot. Now insiders are dumping hundreds of thousands of shares. Again that tells me much.
I don't think Al has been straight with investors regarding trial data and status of partnerships. Not a single partner has stepped up. Big pharma could have backed up the truck with shares at $2. They didn't.
Where there is smoke there is fire. I think Al's army of retail idiots is going to get burned big time.
Selling to a market (CHL only) twice the size of the US is baked in?? LOL what would the PE be if no CHL....6? all cash? LOL baked in? Sounds like he has been out in the sun tool ong and got baked!
