Expect rioting and bloodshed Thursday when bank doors open. For, in a stunning act of thievery and cowardice, the Eurozone ratified raping depositors of from 6.9-10% to pay for bank debt and largess. Even if the under 100,000 EURO crowd is spared, and that is by no means a certainty, a lot of innocent Brits with retirement funds, and Russians with funds of dubious origin but "innocent" of bank wrongdoing are going to be mightily #$%$ off. Not to mention the little guys who, if you remember the Cypriot uprisings of years gone by, can't be expected to sit idly by and be raped.
What a stunning display of Fascism! What are these idiots in the financial business in Europe thinking?
All are basking in bank holidays till Thursday in select countries and waiting for the run to the bank Thursday when they open (and we can watch stocks crash that very day). Let us be reminded that Greece, Italy etc are weak sisters and could fall next to this "solution".
Let us be reminded that gold and silver confiscation ruled the roost here at SLW and just be thankful that for as long as we can, second Amendment rights here in the US ( and a healthy dose of FDIC and walls between depositors and the banks) are all we have against our own governmental bad behavior.
Thanks for harnessing your inner John Belushi in Animal House. I'm with you.
Lets go kick some #$%$ all you ARNA supporters! Buy, Buy, Buy!
I'm all in!
Sentiment: Strong Buy
When I read Iago "The Magnificent" contemplating selling, I know we are getting closer to the bottom. I have to be honest, I thought about it to. Keep what I got and see where it goes. But, but , but it takes the DEA to issue their statement and we're done! What a long road this has been and for some, longer than mine. I do think the DEA (for 1000th time) totally showed what an incompetent agency they are. Today at work, we received a letter from a conference open to medical professionals to discuss control substance abuse with DEA. My colleague, another pharmacist, said "Don't we have enough to do and now they want us to do their job!" I couldn't agree with here more. What a disgrace of a government agency. Whoever is working on this Arena project should be ashamed, but since they work for the government, I'm sure they don't give a damn.
I would think there could be a short sqeeze... This reminds me of another isreali company that the shorts got burned in ora... The delay in reporting is concerning though.. 9x with a buyback and a growing company has to have realy bad fraud to support that low number..
That book value was from 12/31/2012. Since then ORC has gone public and they own 981 thousand shares.
I suppose it must be because they would like to buy some shares cheaper, whether they are now short or not. It is interesting that they put so much effort into it. The shorts have really had the upper hand for quite a while, and as such I have already written off the possibility of a huge short squeeze. Somebody will find a way to let them off the hook so this ship can sail. This game is not designed for the benefit of us retail investors, that's for sure, but I think if we are able to read the tea leaves correctly we actually have an advantage. We own so little that we can either sell all our shares, or double our positions, in a single day without much altering the share price. They can't do that, and that's why we see the market manipulation that we all do see on a daily basis. What it is. Nothing unusual, just the way business is done. The big guys will find a way to put all the pieces in place and those of us that are or were lucky enough to buy at the right times and sell at the right times will benefit greatly. It is important however to watch this thing very carefully and to not underestimate the power of the powers that be. What it is. Something is happening here, but we don't know what it is. It is certainly a very interesting roller-coaster ride.
ok hypothetically speaking, if the solar cell does 25 % and in a day pulls in about double the power with wide angle, then what would a normal cells efficiency have to be to solar3d's cell, without wide angle ?
here is my thought, if there was no wide angle characteristic the cell would only pull in 25 percent. this is roughly 40% better than conventional, so in order to still convert double the power the cell would have to be double the conventional cell. another 60 percent would be required. so if you double the conventional say 18% x2 =32% efficient. so in theory the solar3d cell acts like it converts 32% of the sun that it grabs.
does this make sense. do you concur
i mean i really cant wait to hear the results cause i have so many unanswered questions.
i wish they had a question box on there site that people could just ask random questions. i dont feel like emailing them when ever i have some crazy thought of what is or what may be.
hopefully they will be done soon, its coming up on 5 months now and we all have been so patient.
i hope this is the month they announce its completion.
